Default Message of the day. Make a full page

Being in a very casual guild makes it hard to organize raids and other group activity without setting some kind of offsite web page. We have tried in the past to do just that but it makes it a hassle to log on then go somewhere else to see what's going on . I think it would be better to have a full page for notices instead of a 2 sentence blurb.

    Any thoughts?

    Yes please.

Perhaps some kind of notice board on the ship maybe

It wouldn't be a hard thing to do either. Just add a blank text page under the guild tab next to the Members and Rewards options called Guild Board or Events or something like that.

IMHO, this would be a more elegant way to handle it.

And the ship needs more non-buff things. I'd also like to see guild banners for members, silver flame healers, bank storage, ah, mail box, vendors... but that's OT.

This has been asked for repeatedly for years now.
Still /Signing it, because it would be a welcome addition on our ship.

Yes, I know you can make your own guild forums, and we have some, but still.
A central message board IN GAME on the ship that officers can put some notes on would be rejoiced over.

    !Look Here, Turbine, $$ opportunity!
*I would buy a one-time per ship message board with TP or Shards happily*

*I would pay in-game platinum for a typical timed expiring message board*

/signed that we need more space to communicate within the guild. I doubt it would be read by many, but it would help tremendously for those of us that do read and communicate by MOTD.

I don't really care how they do it. I would like to see a sign on the top deck of the ship with the guild name, but that is just me.

maybe you have to add that you will pay for it lot of cash, then maybe it will get some attention.

How so? If people find it too laborious to Alt+Tab and log onto their guild forums, why would they want to have to march to the ship to read the guild news? Put it on the Guild tab of the Social page so we can get it anywhere.

Mine was "more elegant than a motd pop-up" - insofar as your suggestion - that's more elegant than a popup, too.

I am just not a fan of popups/chat spam - looks ugly.

I love this idea. WOW has something similar to this, and it sure helps to have a guild calendar to tell you at a glancé what is going on. I think it would be great to have a guild board that NON officers could write on too. I'm not an officer in my guild so it's impossible to communicate via MotD. And my guild refuses to have its own forum/site elsewhere, so have no way to talk with others unless they are online when I am.

I wouldn't want to have to run to my guild ship to see the board though. A page on the social window would be perfect.

I like the idea; though another option would be to add it to the guild tab as a side tab, much like the bio on the toon's character sheet.

That way you don't have to be on the boat, or in the case of the smaller guilds that don't have a boat (yet) they can still have the option.

It just makes so much sense.
