The last thing this game needs is a new server of any kind.

The population has droped anyway in the last months......and Wayfinder....Wayfinder i wouldt even call an MMO server anymore

The population on Wayfinder is so low you have most of the time not even enough level 20-25 people online to fill a single raid group!
    And yes im serious

    No, I like that.

For Cane Sugar I have no problems, France produce some in the Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion.
For Good Cigars It's a bit more difficult though.

We used to have EU servers. Too few people played. So we had to come to the US ones instead. I seriously doubt it would be profitable at this point to start up again in the EU.

The EU servers are done wrong. They are HOSTED in the US. A EU server should be HOSTED in the EU so players get EU-quality pings.

**steps up to podium, blows into mic, taps a couple times for good measure**

My fellow DDO-ians. We have servers that are used by a wide variety of players. We have players with a wide variety of skills, toons, and sportsmanship. We are a community of folks that log into our computers, log onto a game and communicate worldwide. We reach out. We share. We help. Granted, yes, we also fight, tease, and sadly in some cases, ninja-loot.

However, our cause is just. Our will is strong. Our parties powerful. Together, we can overcome Waterworks! We can conquer Korthos! We will take back The Shroud!

Regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, political belief, and any other thing you could potentially argue about, we come together for a common cause!

    LOOT!

Let's not split our differences, guilds, friends, and servers due to time or distance, but unite!

Thank you and have a good day.

The Datacenter for the EU server was in AT&T datacenter in Amsterdam.
These servers were shut down two years ago because there wasn't enough people left on them. ( The Spellswords was one of the few guilds ( if not the only guild ) that was still able to manage a guild raid on Keeper in May/June/July 2010. )

They are not going back to EU based servers.
( and I won't go into how unreliable icmp echo-request and reply ( aka ping ) is to determine the propagation time in a network... it's not even able to determine if the remote system has an active tcp/ip stack )

You miss the point. There were european servers (and a Japanese one) that failed.

My guild has people from US/Canadian zones, Hawaii, Asia, Australia / Kiwiland that play all the time.

I have played from Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico to name a few places myself.

I don't have experience from the Gulf regions, but I know people who played in Turkey and Germany.

Not everyone is first shift, so it gives you more of a chance to find groups during their "off-hours" which can coincide with another time zone's prime hours.

Sorry you came to an English language game and then decide it is "their fault" you can't find enough others in your native tongue. Maybe just start over on other servers and find , over time, someone who will group with you. Then, pay to transfer some characters one at a time...
Oh, that's easy. I didn't farm them. I just cheated. -Meghan
