Default Major Idea for Capping a TR (or not) toon.

I had this idea just before going to bed, that could change the whole system of gaining xp and reduce mindless grinding while on the same time it could mean more fun for the players and more money for turbine.

    How?

Once a player completes ALL quests/raids 20 or below for heroic levels, on elite, then he/she gains automatically enough xp to cap. (even in a multiple tr) The same could be applied on epic levels as well, maybe at a later time.

There you go turbine, make us the old timers enjoy the game without repeating anymore, get us all to buy every pack in the game, or go vip, and rejoice!

/ not signed, bad idea capping is REALY easy right now

also "reduce mindless grinding " i dont get, capping is a breeze considering you have xp tomes, bravery bonus. etc etc. pre BB and xp tomes it was torture, if you talked about TRing way back then, people winced, now if you mention TRing, people think of ponys and rainbows.

Won't you cap if you bravery every single quest anyway? At least a first or second life, I would think.

If you are getting the streak bonuses and just completing each quest on elite once you should be able to hit 20 before you do them all.

Even on a 3rd or higher life.

The whole XP system in this game is broken.

Not sure what the solution is, but the system is totally broken.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

The solution seem to be - to closely examine which quests players run and how often they run them. From this data they could see which quests need an XP adjustment. It would involve lowering the XP of some quests and significantly boosting others.

For example: It's silly that I can earn over 50k in about 8 minutes of easy work in Shadow Crypt, but a grueling, painful, and dangerous, pot consuming trip to elite Bastion of Power, or some House C quests earns me around 14k for like 30 min+ worth of work. So many quests in the 10-13 range give wonderful and fast XP while the opposite is true around 18-20. The quests give horrible xp/ min and are significantly more challenging.

The XP needs to be spread more evenly then we would naturally run more quests, not to gain some stone of XP or to race to 20, but because it would be more beneficial (and more fun) to level more naturally.

I actually like this idea (i'm tired of repeat questing as well), can someone do the maths on how much Xp you would have elite streaking all heroic quests.

There is one problem, couldn't i just bring a level 25 guildie to grind thru all the heroic elite quests?

That is the big problem, I think.

However, that could be handled by simply figuring out the total of the base XP (+elite completion bonus) for all heroic quests in the game, and then granting the "Stone of Level 20" to any who has at least that much XP to go along with elite favor for each heroic quest.

Personally, I cannot see myself ever doing this. There are some quests I simply hate to run, others I don't mind once or twice per life, and others that I run many times just because they are fun. I would rather run a fun quest ten times and skip the horrible quests altogether.
All on Thelanis: Archenpaul Sixblade (Epic Triple Completionist), Archernicus Thornwood, Crestellin Moonwood, Gregorovic Redcloak, Jaklomeo Evermug, Jarladdin Nalfesne, Jonathraxius Kane, and Praetoreus Silvershield (Heroic Triple Completionist, Epic Triple Completionist.)

Leader of Guinness Knights (Level 165), which is (since June 2021) a two-man, father-son guild.

    Cogito ergo summopere periculosus.

Some math would be appreciated, from my own experience there are some range levels that dont have too much while others have more than enough.

The logic behind this idea should not be based only in maths, or on what should be more lazy way to cap a TR.

In fact if you completed all quests up to level 20 on elite, you do deserve to cap, dont you?

You defenitely do not deserve to repeat quests, again and again trying to reach this golden so called xp/min....

As for idea: not bad, it could be one of favor rewards (alwas at almost max possible favor) to give some kind of stone of experience. To avoid abuse it may be ML 17.

However, i see this just as one of the option, what should be done:
    - is to raise the xp from unrun quests, especially the long one, Threnal, Cannith, Shavarath deserve for more.
    - rework the xp needed with TR, the doublescaling leads to extremes grind on last levels.
    - Remove the breavery streak (it only makes it harder to form the party and doing lv 13 quests elite at 15 have nothing from the challenge) but instead increase the amount of xp from 1st time on said difficutly, and bring back "underlevel" bonus.
    - Add party bonus, for grouping.

    Numbers:
    - 2nd life is flat xp increase by 50% at all levels, 3rd life and all after is 100% xp increase at all levels flat
    - Bravery STreak is removed
    - Breavery bonus stays at -/10/20% rates
    - Party Bonus, for each additional member up to 4 members you gain 5% more xp. (so +15% total)
    - Challenge bonus, for each level difference between you and effective quest level you gain 5% bonus. For each level difference between quest level and highest member in the party additional 10%. (up to 75%) Counts only on 1st run.
    - The 1st time at difficulty bonus is increased to 25/25/50/100% bonus.

    Notes:
    - SInce there is not so much need for major xp at end levels, nothing stops from taking quest earlier.
    - As soon as you are at level it don matter much if you join e/h/n difficulty. This 20% is far less than 70% and some at future runs.
    - Running lv 13 elite with party of 15 has nothing of challenge, running lv 13 elite with party of 10 is a challenge.

They are hemorrhaging experience, and I see people still begging for more. Bravery and first-time bonuses double the experience from quests. There's no way you could do all those quests and not cap long before you finished them all.
Why not just enjoy the game? You will be bored to tears when you are capped at level 25 just as you were when you capped at 20, and did everything.
