Please add bound +4 tomes to the DDO store.
While this suggestion will no doubt irk the elitists in the game, I think that most people would welcome the opportunity to buy these ultra rare items on the DDO store.
Please consider adding them.

If there were to technically drop (but at a rate so low and in content so unpopular it will likely never be seen) does that count?
However I do basically agree. When +5's are as common as +4's are now, then they can go right ahead and sell +4's in the store. Hopefully not before that though. I'm positive it's just a matter of time.

According to many who post here, if Turbine ever sells +4 tomes in the store, the DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM would be so intense it would burst forth from the computer screen and melt the players' faces.
All on Thelanis: Archenpaul Sixblade (Epic Triple Completionist), Archernicus Thornwood, Crestellin Moonwood, Gregorovic Redcloak, Jaklomeo Evermug, Jarladdin Nalfesne, Jonathraxius Kane, and Praetoreus Silvershield (Heroic Triple Completionist, Epic Triple Completionist.)

Cogito ergo summopere periculosus.
I just don't see a reason for +4 tomes at all. But either way does not really matter to me. I think most of my characters have most of their +2 tomes and my 2 main one do have the critical to their build +3

Well, +4 tomes are no longer raid-exclusive loot and drop with decent frequency on Epic Elite quests. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't make them temporarily available. If you want to pay 12-15 dollars for a single item for a single character, go right ahead. As stated, they do drop from Epic Elites and are much easier to get now than +3 tomes were back when they made those available in the store.
After giving it considerable thought, I don't buy into the Pay to Win argument. The game has no PVP to speak of, so why does it matter if someone with deep pockets is able to buy items that are very difficult to obtain? Everybody benefits because it means there are more people with better builds. I think the main argument against P2W has to do with elitism -- people spent more time than they'd care to admit getting something, so they want everyone else to spend the same amount of time. If people are able to buy +4 tomes in the store, the elitists who already have them won't be able to brag as much anymore and feel like they wasted their time. Well, they didn't waste their time because they had the tomes for all this time whereas other people didn't. And they didn't have to shell out 12-15 dollars to get one.

If people could spend money to buy anything from the store, you change the main resource requirement in the game from time to money. It would mean a lot of new players would come to play, but likely get bored very quickly and those that have been here would not be able to advance their characters at the same rate that others can. Regardless of your feelings on that, it does create a negative incentive and will cause players to leave. When I think of games that are money based compared to time based, I start to think of facebook games and that's not what I want DDO to be.
Also, if by "decent frequency" you mean approximately 1 in 1000, then I think we both have different ideas of decent.

Sure why not, +4 tomes in store are no worse than tomes of fate, raid bypasser and seweral others. At leats +4 tomes do not mess with gameplay of those who want to ignore them.
Before they do, someone let me know in advance, I want some popcorn before Sirgog's next meltdown.
It does affect everyone's game, including yours and it has little to do with making a better build. In groups, your build affects my game enjoyment. For better, for worse. If your build is so much better due to Store available items, potentially like +4 tomes, these tomes become the de facto 'must have' requirement.
Add to this that when devs start creating quests based on gear available in the Store, you are further put in the quandry of feeling pressured to buy it. It was a problem with tomes period, let only +2 and then +3. And while some people can hold the pressure off, given the wide range of player ages and maturity levels in the game, I find it a murky practice by Turbine to milk the players, especially younger ones.

while I understand everyone wants "More Power", can we honestly believe that a +4 Tome is going to un-gimp a character?
Honestly, I would prefer that Tomes did not get sold - Before anyone judges my Elitism - Yes I have most of my characters covered with +3 Tomes (even have some bound ones left over because we get to keep them now), I have Zero +4 tomes on any of my character, I've just not been that lucky with the +4's.
Knowing that the game is a business to make money, I do see that they will come eventually, for now however I'm hoping that it is a long way off - Or at least not change until after I get my first +4 Tome, similar to what happened when I finally got my first Wounding of Puncturing weapon - Week after 0 CON no longer meant death.
screw that why waste time and money on +4s the others are big enough scams. I say the only thing they should sale is +5s and they should work at lvl one. I also think devs should never build content taking into account higher power then a naked barbarian at equal lvl to the quest as a standard for the hardest difficulty.
D&D is not about stress and grinding but DDO has steadily become filled with that.
The devs need to start recognizing those that build for power dont really want any challenge, and trying to give it to them only hurts the game population over all
I really don't see the +4 'must have'. Sure, +4 vs no tomes, but +4 vs +3? Just not that big, perhaps if you can field a scenario where that would do you in, I might buy it, but for now I'm not buying it.
When all is said and done someone has to pay the bills. I'm VIP, so if some people will shell out a lot of money to cover their toons in +4 and that keeps my bill down... I can't complain too much.
I would rather spend my money more conservatively..
just go straight to the +5's in the store and skip the +4's all together.

Please add the eSoS to the store because I don't want to actually play the game. I just want to have lots of stuff written down on my character sheet.
