They have definitely lost some of their old market value since scroll farming is so easy now and all of the new epic loot that is available, but, when you do find a buyer who wants one, they still sell for a decent amount. You won't get anything crazy like 8-10 Reds (unless you find someone who is really desperate or has no idea that the scroll has dropped in value), but you should still expect it to be worth your while if you're going to sell.

    this is wrong.

it's not worth your while to sell it.

save it or give it to a guildie. I have 4 of them that I won't trade away because no one will offer more than 1-2 reds for them.

The item was the top DPS weapon in game and it still is. Value is down though.

Used to be that the shard and scroll were hard to get. Seal was not too tough. Now scroll is easier as to get (as is the seal, slightly) but shard is still tough. That means a lot of scrolls are available but there are few shards to pair them with to make the item. Hence, high supply of scrolls, low number of shards to make eSoS's (demand) = lower price.

The only reason Ninety has 4 SoS scrolls is because no one has shards. Otherwise, they would be a hot commodity.

Just some friendly advice, Ninety, but maybe you should stop asking for only Reds, then. A guildie of mine sold one about 2 weeks ago for some plat and a couple +3 tomes. The eSoS is still a much-sought-after weapon by many builds, so there will always be buyers for the scroll.

If you don't have any plans to make an eSoS for any of your toons, there really isn't any reason to keep the scroll. Lost bag space < 2 Reds, no matter how you look at it. The likelihood of the value of the scroll going up ever again is so low that hording it really serves no purpose. Having said that, I would hold out for a buyer that was willing to pay a little more than 1-2 Reds if I was selling an SoS scroll, so I can understand Ninety's frustration with the market.
