Crush it and friends take down LoB on EE:
They really made this insanely difficult.. Glad I got my new tankbuild pretty well near maxxed before we attempted it. Even at 1600+ hp, 210% healing amp, and over 50% worth of PRR mitigation, he was still incredibly difficult to tank. Dealt damage to me in the 230-270+ per swing rate.. Which meant the squishies took 550+ damage essentially got 1 shot. Some pasted in dmg reports of 600 in a single hit, and he can double hit..
That and they set his intim DC to a just plain wrong value: Rolled in the 99 range and failed. 100+ DC is just wrong. Shouldn't be required to gimp your char to make use of the skill. Anyways was able to hold threat with stand against the tide, brutable throw and a cpl crafted hobgcb dwarf axe/thrower combo anyways pretty well... Stalwarts get pretty insane threat, even when built mainly for defense and very limited dps.
Main thing that made it tough was the no intim and the fact he 1 shot many of our DPS players.. End fight we pretty much crushed fast as we loaded nick up with lots of scarabs and Rhyes and the rest took down the pillars quick.
Thanks to everyone who came. Was 4 from Crush it, and rest pretty much all friends I group with regularly. Though we had to flag jay and it was his first LoB ever i believe lol,, way to do it in style, EE first!
Some pics:
Action shot of the insanely powerful CR58 Nightmare Boss
Completion Time and Deaths. Time was reasonable as we took our time and he has insane hp, deaths were mostly unpreventable due to limited hp on some of our dps.
EE proof - Bravery bonus!
Loot:
Mmm seems Groan-1 won the gold medal for loot, look at all that...
Pretty nice haul, tho considering the difficulty we REALLY should of got some +4 tomes for that.
Loot was:
-1d2 raid tokens (seems most got 2)
-Lotsa tier 3 fragments - groan got not only a full empty, but another 50+ frags on top of it.
-Several tier1/2 spirits (Very very wrong that tier3 sprit drop on normal but not elite)
End reward was correctly max lvl (planeforged/celestial gear).
Well that makes every raid down on EE now except MA. Gona hold off on MA due to it's boredom factor. No doubts we could crush it, its just tends to be long and tedious.
Pots:
Was actaully fairly reasonable due to the ease of healing tankaxer (Heal scrolls hit him for 760+ ). Naughty said 20ish iirc. Fvs were mostly assigned to kiting/melee dps, so they should of been a bit lower.
The length and difficulty of the raid tho makes it rather unreasonable to run on a regular bases tho. Especially given the fact N/H are a billion times easier and reward near equal, and in some cases superior loot.
