I have come up with 2 melee nerfs that were reversed after player feedback. You have come up with 1 caster one (and arguably they are still nerfing wail). I challenge you to come up with 2 more
    Assuming you're not trolling
1/ In closed beta within 3 days of casters seeing spellpower not multiplying with empower and maximise... empower and maximise were changed from 25>75(100for emp heal) and 100>150 to compensate. Now with <insert energy type> stick(rather than potency) they are actually AHEAD in %age spell magnitude than on live.
It happened again twice more with hard to kill intentional nerf being mitigated within 3 days, and the new mitigation Haunting likewise not standing up 3 days.
At the moment live is looking like an overall boost to %spellpower, displace turning into a selfish spell, and only wail being changed(not nerfed).

Pretty sure madstone boots were an oversight rather than a WAI nerf!
And you can also take back the Kensai debacle, which wasnt an intended nerf it was done out of not considering the impact of the change. Now still unfixed, with one of the best short term melee clickies (titans grip +6 psionic bonus) not stacking with the prestige boost, yet does so for every other class/prestige in the game!
Stalwart (competence bonus) still is copping a -1 nerf from exceptional +1 turning into competence.
Every single buff and debuff from spell/enhancement/pastlife/feat/or class feature that relate to either AC or to-hit are now worth far less the further into the game you go, and start less effective than they are on live....
I've shown math on as much as +9 tohit = 0% change in hit chance.

the dedicated AC/DPS melee builds spend just as much time grinding out past lives and gear as casters do, and know they are behind even then.
The combat changes put the casters they were behind in dps power, even closer to them in both AC and to hit!!!
Yet casters get the feedback, and the rollback on their nerfs.

Combat changes have still to address issues (as PROMISED btw) like monk having nigh equal Dodge and FAR less PRR than armor wearers, and less AC without HUGE stat investment! (more item slots that they need for dodge and stats over armored toons for LESS benefit)

    @the OP:
Reason is (imo): majority of forumgoers after reading into how things work in ddo would know that death spells and casters in general are FAR ahead of the pack, the popularity of the caster builds has increased rapidly over the last year.
As have "Blue bar only" LFMs that convince even clueless players to roll casters just to get into certain raids, and raid difficulties...

Meaning more forumgoers with investment into casters, than forum goers with investment into melee.
Melee is more of a flavor build these days than a truly viable one (i dont agree with this and want it changed) thats how I think ppl see it.

    /tinfoil on
Plus blue bars buy store pots (for DCs) and store SP pots (for unlimited power) Casters = profits
