Have not been able to play for any real amount of time without bouts of 30 seconds to 4 minutes of lag...party-wide lag, not even freaking personal stuff that could be my computer.

well done!! as of 3 days ago i finally found a reason NOT to play. it is simple it is unplayable!

There was an update? I haven't been able to play to see.

All I hear is nerfs and some non-quest content got created. Oh yeah, some hirelings got fixed.

But, it must be the influx of new players due to the new content. We shall see next week.

I totally agree that Turbine needs to deal with the lag. I don't usually get it but I do know.

I think it might be the kobold coding causing all this lag.

THANK YOU. This is a much needed message. Play so far this weekend has been nearly unbearable. Server-wide lag that has permeated every aspect of the game is quite frankly RUINING our experience. When the main challenge to winning is lag, there is DEFINITELY something wrong with the game. While we appreciate the huge amounts of attention you place on generating new content, I think we have reached a point at which we can no longer ignore the accumulation of old problems for the sake of generating new content. PLEASE address the lag issue. We have always played with lag in this game and it has become something that we accept and even adjust our strategy to deal with, but I guarantee that lag that reduces you to playing at 1 frame per second while your toon is rubber banding and while all actions you take are on a 10 second delay is sure to drive all players away from this game. Once again, thanks for paying so much attention to new content, we commend you for thinking up new ideas, but please take a moment to address the hundreds of bugs that have accumulated in this game, or at least give a quick fix for the ridiculous lag that is simply making this game unplayable.

Turbine has let the legendary Lag Monster out of it's cage a bit more lately it would appear.

Much like it's relative the Tarrasque no one has ever actually *seen* the Lag Monster....just the horrendous wake of its passing. Many have felt it come close!! The very fabric of spacetime shifts and bends in ways that defy even illogical minds!

I myself have come close to the beast many times of late, I am sad to say. While I never actually saw the beast....I have seen the party wipes myself. I have watched all my heals on cooldown....and not one green number anywhere to be seen....I remember Shroud dps lag...and long for that as a step forward again....

Are there not other ways in which to challenge us oh mighty....programmers/developers/overlords? I can overcome anything that DDO has to offer with a good team....except the Tarrasque twin, your mighty mighty Lag Monster has Crushed even the greatest to finely ground sand. I get it, you win....now please...kennel your dog.

Glad I decided a week ago to take my annual DDO break. I enjoy playing DDO but after a few months of playing and dealing with bug after bug it really becomes a chore.
