Anyone out there interested in a completionist guild.
I have a fourth TR on Ghallanda.
Thought this would be a fun way for TR's to experience DDO.
I would like to be a part of something like this.

hahaha
Its a nice idea but I just think that at life 3 you are jumping the gun here so to speak.
I'm just suggesting a guild with toons in it that have Completionist as a goal. Not everyone will make it.
Or you could just TR within your already existing guild like everyone else...
I tried being like everyone else. It wasn't that hard.
The benefit would be to share the long term experience of the game with other TR's.
A very Noble idea, however many of the most committed TR's are entrenched in their guild and not likely to switch.
You would need to start it up and build this thing one player at a time, it would take a while.
Good luck.

I think Sequell is a bit ****y today about not being able to play. Lighten up Sequell, it'll be OK!
Captain's Crew - Ghallanda
Thanks Saismatters. Good to know.
And you are right about the entrenched TR thing.. I guess I just havent found a guild I like yet..
Meh, maybe I am a little ****y, but I just don't see the point.
I for one will not leave the guild I am in. Why the hell would anyone leave a well established high level guild to start over at 1 again and work for all the buffs and shrines all over again?
I suppose for a bunch of brand new players it would be ok, but it seems senseless for am already established player to do something like this.
You are not seeing the big picture Sequell. The guild doesnt necessarily have to start at level 1. People could move their toons to the guild. Anyway, I think its a no go. Doesn't seem realistic. ... DDO loader retry #68 commencing.. come on.. come on..
Well bestow upon me the vision of the big picture that I am missing.
I'll give you a example.
I have been playing with pretty much the same people for 5+ years and in the same guild almost the whole time. (Couple drama/guild reconfigurations happened over the years)
What is the draw to move to a Completionist Guild? Why would anyone move 1 character to an alternate guild that is lower level than their existing guild? If you are going for completionist you know the value of guild buffs at low level. (especially the 5% xp shrine)
Apparently I am missing something...enlighten me.
Ok Sequell.
First, I dont think you are missing anything. You seem happy with your guild and wouldn't be one of the people who would join a new guild.
Second, I think the guild would draw on players who like serious play (completionist) but haven't really found a guild they are happy with (I admit that this is rare and most TRs are in a guild they like)
Third, I cannot enlighten you it is up to each of us to enlighten ourselves in our own way. In fact, you might be more enlightened then I am.
I was going to give out free Harry Potter books but since you didn't show interested I'm cancelling the idea all together. :P
