Default Mouse gets trapped in second monitor now!!!

After the patch I find a wonderful new addition, my mouse can freely travel between two monitors while the game is fullscreen. I have been waiting for this in turbine games for YEARS. Then I found the flaw, if I click ANYTHING on that second monitor my mouse gets trapped behind the game. The only way to fix it is to minimize DDO then re-fullscreen it.

This cannot possibly be the way it's supposed to work? Does noone at turbine test with multiple monitors and DX10? Is there a better workaround or fix for this?

BTW - this is on a fresh install of DDO with no modifications to any game files.

So i must assume noone else with a multi-monitor dx10 setup has this issue?

Actually, I've had the same problem since the patch. Since I'm new to the game, I thought it was just something I had done wrong with the game settings. It's like it's in maximized windowed mode (at least that's what I think it's called). Like you said, I accidentally clicked on the second monitor, and was unable to get back to the DDO screen until I clicked on the game icon on the taskbar. Not a good thing when surrounded by sahuagin.

Soooo...if any tech support people happen to see this...is there any way to keep the mouse cursor restricted to the DDO window when using a two-monitor setup? Something I can change in a config file for example? This wasn't happening prior to the latest patch.

Was only able to get it to work by running the game in window mode only, not really a solution to Full Screen. But I guess no answer from Customer Support and Service will be forthcoming.

I would try going into "Documents"/"My Documents" > "Dungeons and Dragons Online" and opening up the userpreferences.ini file

In there under [Display] look for 'ConfineFullScreenMouseCursor' and make sure its set to "True" and then find 'AllowFakeFullScreen' and try with that on False/True (ie whichever is selected on yours try the reverse). (You might want to test with "ForceFakeFullScreen" as well).

I run dual screen but set it to windowed for both instances of the game (1 per screen).
That way I can drag it to the side so I can see some of the LFM info while I do other things (such as browse the alternate forum ). If the LFM was customizable (grrr), I would not have to drag the screen to the right so I don't have to see the useless columns and the new column of blank space showing up. There is a lot of fluff all over the place that I would just get rid of.
Oh, that's easy. I didn't farm them. I just cheated. -Meghan

Not sure if it was the AllowFakeFullScreen=True or ForceFakeFullScreen=True, or the combination of the two. In any case, my mouse stays on my DDO screen unless I go into windowed mode. Thanks!

PS: Sorry about the late response...I'd forgotten about my post.
