That's just a misunderstanding. I mean, can the Halflings help it if they just always notice when someone's wallet falls to the ground? The pocket is right there, at eye level!! But sure enough, as soon as they pick it up intent on returning it to the rightful owner, there are cries of "THIEF!", "GRAB HIM!", or "HE TOUCHED ME INAPPROPRIATELY!!!" Woe to the poor Halflings
