It only stops when you firmly inform everyone that you don't put up with that ****.

One way is to give people very difficult options, like choosing between calming the hell down and dealing with things coldly and with calculated actions, or becoming a stranger(terminating a friendship, permanently).

I don't have drama because I don't play mind games. People know this and love it. Those that don't, find themselves very lonely very quickly.



Marriage... well, society has gone and completely destroyed all semblance of morals and mechanically functional biorhythmic(and bioelectromagnetic) union between two people(of opposite sexes). Those morals are there for the people who refuse to think, and refuse to learn. Marriage is a mere joke these days. Divorce is almost preconcieved when the "bride" and "groom" say 'I do'.
My wife and I will be together until one of us dies, however. Timing simultaneous accidental or natural death would be nightmarishly difficult. We've been married for over 5 years now and we are still going strong.

This is one thing I’ll never understand

My husband started playing about 6 months before me and granted I would get annoyed sometimes when it seemed like I was doing all of the housework and he was doing none.

My friends and family would ask me how I could put up with him playing “Video Games” all the time and my answer to them was always the same

“When I would ask him to pitch in he usually did, and I know there are worse things he could be doing.”

“I would rather have my husband sitting at home playing a game and being faithful then out at the Bar with the Boy’s spending our savings partying it up with other women, Wouldn’t you?

“They left it alone after that because people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. “

So I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble but try to remember one thing “She’s the one that’s losing out not you.”

Unless you find the right one, wich might take a couple "trial and error", you will have to deal with what i call the "barbie syndrom" wich is basically the natural women desire to be the center of YOUR univers and everything else is seen as competetion!

I on my part feel like the luckyest b@$$t@rd on earth at 37 since she actually find it cool that i play some game (DDO, D&D, Warhammer 40K, ...) and actually kick me in the butt in order to keep my pen & paper campaign rolling!

Beleive me.... cherish the time you're gettin through right now (school, summer vacation, mom doin laundry, skipping classes (not too much often though ...), not having to worry that much about money yet and mostly all your time TOTALLY YOURS!!!) because it wont last forever

Well, since you probably play DDO as much as I do (at least) 1-3 hrs a day and 3-5 hrs on the weekends I believe you should compromise with your Ladyfriend.

Take a break for a couple of weeks and patch things up. If she is completely unreasonable then it won't stop with DDO. Television , Clubbing, and Friends are next.

I think she just wants some attention. Just giver her a few Ghallinda Distillates and a Tastey Ham before you game.

When I get AGGRO nothing says I love you than a few games of pool and a Pitcher of Bud.
