The Free Companions no more??

Of course, we may all be barking up the wrong tree here...

The name MAY have been changed due to the even more anal belief that a Free Companion (who you'd normally pay for...) is offensive. If so, thats even weaker than the copyright crud.

As usual though, no response from Turbine. Man, I love the kiddy treatment on the forums. If there was a valid reason for the name change, TELL US. After that, you can get on your high horse and decide not to enter into any debate, but at least the player base would have an idea of what sort of Nazi rules we are going to have to live by.

The things that happen when you are out of town. This is pretty dissappointing. If someone indeed did complain to a GM, wow how petty. The Free Companions were/are one of the best on Khyber bar none. We will change the name together and hopefully get over this but I cant feel but largely betrayed by the powers that be on this one.

More later when I get back into town around the 5th or so of May. To my guildies, hold on and we will figure something out. We have killed the content brutally for 2 years we cant let this get us down.

What a classy way to respond to this situation – hats off to Eightball - leader of a great guild (what ever you all choose/are allowed to call yourselves)!

That's the best idea so far. GREAT! , thats just wonderful....I've already said my goodbyes, started packing my things and now this! Just when you think you're out, they pull you right back in! So I suppose it's looking like you all will be stuck with me for awhile longer. That is of course until Turbine decides to do something else thats equally, astronomically idiotic that they cant as easily retract....and we all know now how capable they really are.
