Several months ago, I found out a buddy of mine plays DDO and we had been friends for years without it coming up. We were both doing high-level reaper at cap routinely for fun so I decided to transfer my main to the server he was on so we could play together. After all, both our toons were decked out with past lives and gear with no real ties to our original servers.

I come home from work ready to transfer my character and BOOM character transfers had gone down that day with no warning. This story sounds made up or exaggerated but I am not kidding that server transfers went down THAT EXACT DAY that I logged in to transfer my character. Its a month later and character transfers are still down.

I have been tiding us over with a first-life under-geared alt but he is so weak as to be no fun to play. It can barely participate in higher reapers.

I'm asking because I am sick of getting my hopes up each day for nothing. The original ETA has come and gone.

Is there any way to get an estimate for how long until character transfers come back?

I'm not going to go on a witch hunt if the estimate is wrong but I want an idea of what I am dealing with so I can plan accordingly. [EX. Is it worth building an alt sorcerer to grind the new healer some gear?]

It shouldn't be too long on World Transfers, but I do not currently have an ETA.

There are some of us that need transfers bad to continue playing the game and any reply would be apreciated here on a time line or just anything we feel like this is being ignored thanks

Almost a month and a half of being down and no reply to even a estimate on how long here for weeks unreal customer service

Update: This ended up changing, all worlds getting a restart tomorrow.

The worlds not being done today or Thursday will be getting a restart tomorrow.

Last update on this was quite a while ago. Can we get an update on this please?

Are world transfers from Hardcore still disabled? I don't see Hardcore in the list of worlds in "Step 1 Select World". Or will that be enabled at end of season?

World Transfers from Hardcore will be done after the end of the season.
