A ONE percent buddy boost ? ONE PERCENT? You've got to be kidding me.

That's not a bonus, it's an insult.

After every buddy bonus weekend people constantly ask for the buddy bonus to be an always on thing. I am constantly reading post stating "leave it on, make it 2.5% per person if you have to, heck even 2% would be great". Here is the litmus test. If people still come out in the same numbers for a 1% then they know that any buddy bonus brings people out and encourages grouping. If no one cares about 1% then the devs know there is a floor to how much of a buddy bonus people will care about.

My last quest was in the sewers.

Delera's Tomb, so not much worth serving: the ribs are already picked clean, and what meat still remains is quite spoiled. The rest is incorporeal, and not very satisfying.

Since more quests aren't in dungeons, I have to think back a bit.

I would have to say the dinner party would be in Sewer Ambuscade where I would serve Death by Chocolate.

Dinner Party in the sewers at Missing in Action, and gonna serve up some troglodyte flank steaks, roasted kobold tails in special sauce, and gray ooze pudding for desert with zombie hands crawling around to serve the food. Ill set up a slip n slide on those water slides.
