I fought internationally in kickboxing matches. Handwraps --although cloth-- do break hitting anything --- I've had the same wraps for 15 years. They protect the knuckles from bruising and breaking and they help secure the wrist from getting out of alignment when punching.
For DDO purposes they should have considerable more durability (its not like a cloth outfit or robe being attacked by weapons) but rather several layers of stern cloth that strikes not at weapons but the body of humanoids and creatures.

imp crit feat not showin ( infact took many crit enhancments and barley crited at all)

lvl 30 monk with lvl 20 wraps of endless night, seeing 120/200 damge in reaper mode (1 skull) lords of dust, 80 to 90 on any training items on the guild air ship
thunderforged wraps completely broken (could not even use stunning fist)
no (w) from any source showing on any wraps i tried very limited test sample , thinder forged, endless light, and newish caster ones < apperently only intended for monk splashed wiz/sorc )
every thing in henshin tree is now mellee power based (woot for the mp for other builds) but is pos finisher or fire finisher mp or sp?
