Default will 'old mabar loot' stay in Night Revel loot list?

Just curious if I need to try to get anything I might ever want finished this year or if I am good with going for just one or two iterations of an item and continue next year... Is 'old mabar loot' part of the 'new night revel loot' permanently? pretty please? Or at least as permanently as an ever changing environment permits?

Our current intention is to keep the "old Mabar loot"/Mimic Hunt rewards in The Night Revels for the foreseeable future.

Good, cause with the current key drop rates, it will take me that long to upgrade my wraps from 12 to 20. 3 hours, 8 keys, such a deal!

But won't all the ingredients disappear at the end of this current Mabar/Revel?

yep which is why there is so much irritation with this event and there is much less reason to run it for those who do not have the time to grind for 3+ hours per day each day of the event. In other events which create components that must be used to craft it has not been that big a deal if you don't finish in a single season. Save em for next year, or the one after that, or the one after that. Eventually you will get the item done. What the devs are telling us now is if you are not going to spend 30+ hours grinding during our event, DON'T BOTHER TAKING PART!

Go big or go home. Have a job? Have kids? Have a life (outside ddo) This is not your event. However if you are looking for a massive sprint to grind the same quests over and over until your eyes bleed because otherwise the components you need to upgrade your gear will go away and you will need to start again next year (depending on how they handle this next year )..... Then this is the event for you.

But my understanding (thanks to Cordovan) is that that they will bring back the Mabar loot again next year, but we will be using NEW ingredients to use to barter and upgrade further next year.

He could upgrade it from 12 to 16 this year, then 16 to 20 next year.

yeh, it's why I don't quite understand the outrage to be honest.

I mean, okay, I have horded thousands of green dragonshards from crystal cove, but that's because I run it even though I don't need/want anything from it. I just like running it. And I kind of like the 'trophy value' of them sitting there in my bank. but aside from that... all they do is eat bank space.

For Night revels, I will simply use all materials I get, and when it's over I'll shrug and start again next year.
