Just to let you all know the level 21 Bracers with the green slot DOES not work. You cant put anything in it, not colourless, green or blue. WHY dont they test these things before they release them.

Some notes:

• The Magical Resistance should really be Magical Resistance, as the title of the effect says. (It's not another Healing Amp on the same item.)
• It's WAI that it's a Green Augment Slot and Colorless Augment Slot. (As always, items and other game elements can change from Lamannia and release; the Lamannia version isn't intended as a promise of what's to come, just something we're trying and getting feedback on.)
• Yup, it's paper. Because of reasons.

We'll look into this. We explicitly tried testing various augments in here, not sure what changed since then.

its interesting that the paper hardness is higher than cloth, steel, adamantine, leather, etc compared to any level cloak going by the level 21 screenshot. that makes it truly mysterious paper.

I bought a sets of the level 7 Bracers and Cloak today and discovered that the Green slots on both are not currently functional. The clear slot however does appear to work. When attempting to put slot the Green with either a Heavy Fort augment or an Energy Resistance augment neither will show as an option in the augments dialog box when either Mysterious item is placed inside. So they suffer the same issue.

I did attempt to use the Bug reporting tool and it timed out on me today and was unresponsive.

They will rotate them back in several times a year. Think spring and winter sales.

A paper cloak is indeed quite mysterious. Intriguing.

It's origami. VEEEERY deeply folded from an original square paper about 200 ft/side. Does not break Druidic Oath but will uncenter monks, because why not.

instead of double dice xp which gives what... an extra 100 to 1000 xp which is lame, how about an extra +50 to your dice roll?

Costs seem out of line. Its great they are BTA, but given I and a friend ran through a 3rd life TR since those have been released on straight HE and I'm only up to 3.4k of the bits (including a fair number from some time before and after the TR in epics), the 4k for a 14 is a bit steep and 8k for a 21 item is just crazytalk. Your average new player will need to be on a second or third life to start affording those.

Compared to, for example some of the cove gear, it feels like way more invested than the reward is worth.

Speaking about the cloaks...

I'm trying to slot a sapphire on the lvl 14 cloak, but doesn't let me... I slotted a diamond in the colorless slot without problems.

Anyone else has this problem?

Eternal Flask of Deathward!

If you don't have one, now is the time. Like this weekend Yo!

I have one. I got it from the original anniversary cards when they came out. I recall logging in one afternoon (more like religiously every afternoon) and I got the card I needed. I was stoked! Now is your chance if you missed the original event and did not get one.

Right now you can get one in the Hall of Heroes (HoH) for 10k mysterious remnants.

I used to carry around 3 Visors of the Flesh Renderer. That was 60 minutes of Deathward for my arty. The Eternal Flask of Deathward saved me one inventory slot. I now carry one visor and the flask. I get all the DW I need from that.

Before you take the plunge there are a few things to consider. There are other flasks for 10k coughdrops (remnants) as well. However, all the flasks share the same cool down. I only got me the DW flask to save space since all flasks share the same cool down. The Visor can be recharged by resting at a shire. The flask has a cool down regardless of shrining or not. Also, you will get more DW from the flask if you're not an arty, and less time from the flask if you're an arty. Due to class bonuses at cap you get 20 minutes of DW from visors, while you only get 10 minutes of DW from the flask. You may want to consider how much DW you use and actually need before getting.

Although the flasks lasts 10mins, you can watch the cool down on your hot bar (which is also 10min). I like that. I'm able to make do with one visor and the flask and I'm very happy about. Enough to write all this blah blah : ) )
