I was hoping for someone who actually worked for Turbine and was in a position of aleast some authority that they are aware of the issue and we can expect a resolution. I forgot to exclude the trolls.

You still have some serious lag issues to the point its unbearable to play the game. Please sort it out!

I took the cable splitter out of the cable circuit and connected the cable line directly into my cable modem.

Have to reconnect cable to watch TV but with Netflix/Youtube/DVD/XBoX/Wii and PC who has time for TV

Its almost completely unplayable.You may get 2 minutes out of 20 that are bearable. Paying to be a vip on an unplayable game is not an option,ill give it a few more days then im out ,too bad we couldn't get a refund on what ive spent over the past month.

I'm not one to gripe about lag generally, but I did want to add some comment...

For the last several days Khyber has been having issue, and today it is quite bad. At the moment I get hit with horrendous lag as soon as I walk into a quest. It is happening when no monsters are activated. one thing that may be important, when i boot my machine and reload I frequently get slowed down at the "Cleaning up connections" section of the load and the transfer rate is waffling between 0.01 kb and 0.02 kb.

While that is loading I can open up a browser and go to speedtest.net and get 30 meg down and 8 meg up.

Eventually my DDO loads time out (say server is full) and when I try reload that transfer rate go back up 7-8 kb. (7.xx, not 0.07.)

My Latency while this happens is int he 30s and no loss is showing.

I should add that I am seeing some sync issues. When I load up my 3 guys A sees B disconnected (gray in group,) B sees C as disconnected, but C sees both A and B as connected.

last comment, it seems to have reached out of quests now. It is currently happening on my airship.

You're completely right in that it's unplayable. I resubbed on December 13th, and would very much like to play the game, but this insane lag makes it all but impossible to endure a game session.
I heard it has been happening like this for about 2 or so months now with no word, confirmation, or fix in sight.

I really can't see myself resubbing once my subscription runs out. Nor can my friend whom I level with. It's just not fun when it's a consistent thing over the span on such a long time that makes you completely unable to play the game.

No, it's been happening for about 3 weeks (since last hotfix). The rest of the complaints (before that) are just usual lag. Also, people started complaining about this specific type of lag during the holidays (28/12/2014) when the first post appeared.

Ah, so really just when I started playing pretty much. Just my luck. I still don't understand how a "hotfix" can do this much damage and not just be rolled back or fixed with another hotfix in 3 weeks. They're not exactly a 1 man company who are clueless about coding.
