See my post in the other TWF thread.

~ We are definitely looking for feedback on TWF.
~ Tempests got a little bit of love with the cooldown reduction (and removal of the AC penalty) on two key abilities.
~ TWF will be able to take good advantage of on hit effects as we move them to scale with Melee Power.

Id rather you double the duration and double the cooldown to keep the same ratios. The short length of time (and game lag) is what keeps these from being used.

I figured this was the case, and I think tempests should get extra in that department, compared to other trees. Like in their cores. Add 4 melee power to all weapon effects per core. Or .5 melee power per point in the tree.

You know not all twf are tempests? ie unarmed monks? how about updating some shintao DC-based abilities and quivering palm so that they actually work in EEs? as of now a freezing bard is better tactics monk than a monk

I'm not one to manage cooldowns with melee attacks so these abilities are not something that I care to use or have even considered taking on my Tempest. The lack of 'fun' things in the Tempest tree is also the reason I'm looking at changing to AA or a different class altogether. This improvement also doesn't benefit any of my other TWF's like my druid. Hopefully something can be worked out soon that will benefit those type of builds.

Yes, this. I'd prefer a passive that wasn't as good, but was always active. I *hate* clickies. This is why I don't play casters. I'm not going to do clickies that last just a few seconds, every 30 seconds. I'll do ones with 4-6 second cooldowns (cleaves, Called Shot) because that's quick enough that I don't really have to pay attention to the timer. But 15 or 30 seconds? Eh, I'd hit them when I thought of it. So I won't take them.

So no, none of my TWF got a boost, because I'm not planning on taking those. I've always loved being a Tempest... but I think I actually have more points in AA now.

I have to agree here as well. I would use a tactical ablility similar to the swashbucklers slap in the face or make it a multi selector for those who somehow like the way its done now. But click every 30 seconds is not fun.

    Put a selector in:
    As is or
Elaborate Take Down: Highest of Str or Dex vs Reflex save mob helpless for a short time, modified by trip items.
Hamstringing Strikes (toggle) 1% cummaltive chance of hamstringing opponent.

Elaborate parry, replace with passive 1% everytime you crit. cap is based on number of times taken 5, 10, 15 decay rate is ???

Tier 5 ability vorpal on 19 or 20
Tier 5 ability or capstone 10% melee speed increase as it used to be.

    But cut down on clickies

how about weapons in the off hand get a 50% bonus to melee power for weapon effects(or abilities if there are enough of them)that way it scales well with feats and tempest cores

I also never use these enhancements. The duration is so short that lag is sufficient to make them useless. Plus I already have a million clickies and abilities that I am managing, adding two more to the list is not fun to me.

I really wish you would find some other way to help out TWFighters rather than buffing two generally useless tier 5 enhancements in the Fury epic destiny.

Just my two cents, your mileage may vary.

Please list the "on hit" effects that will scale with melee power

Outside of Paladin light damage, ninja poison, venomed blades there are not that many to hit effects.

    Yes please.

I originally thought all weapon procs would be boosted, as that's where TWF gets its power, not from a few class abilities.

P.s. Venomed blades is extremely weak compared to paladin light damage, and a ton of mobs are immune to poison as well.

Speaking of TWF and on-hit effects scaling with melee power. Sneak attack needs to scale, thats step 1. Step 2 is to find a way to let non-rogue TWF get significant on-hit effects before acquiring tier 3 thunderforge. I don't know how to do this exactly, but without a direct buff to the TWF style I don't see pre-thunderforge TWF having a place.

I think a good idea is to go back and look at swashbuckler for how pre benefits should look for tempests, they really need more love than this.
