FvS changes

I was concerned about my future in this game if they were limiting the use of wings to 5x/rest but the regen of 1 per 15 sec. should be enough to keep me playing. Don't know for sure til I try it out but I can't remember a time where I needed more than 6 in a row to survive something or get anywhere.

I was going to say you should play a few more classes instead of sweating it over a FvS thing (cuz I admit, some of them monk nerfs hurt a bit) but, then I was like, "this is Drak. Duh. He has a brazilian characters!"

So, all I can suggest is to roll up an artificer or two and go all out on them; but, don't quit! Don't let the man take you down like that.

I think this, just like every other nerf-bat hit, will cause less impact then everyone thinks.

Changes to TWF.....people still use TWF effectively.
Changes to Banishers, etc....people still use them.

So lets just see how this will actually work out before we start hollering that the sky is falling yet again.

Yes, absolutely. Am I supposed to assume who will or will not dish out the cash to roll up the new class? I know I will; I was merely suggesting a way to numb the pain of losing wings.

If the wings matter for you then thats all that matters. And to all those that says cry baby and so. When you have been in this game just ½ the time drak have, iam sure you will see how frustraing it is that the toon you have been working on gear planned, done 100+ of all raid competions got perfect epic gear and all the tomes you want. just so the next day you wake up and see that your toon is not gonna be worth a S**t any moe becoruse we think you need a nerf. That is a not funny to anyone. Call it cry baby for complaining about it. but to complain is better then to accept it all. you know maybe someone actully saw the post and rethink on it.

Sure lets make some SUPER HYBER NEW GREENSTELL LOOKALIKE WEAPONS THAT DOES: ZILLION OF DMG. Yeah.. But then we will have to nerf FVS wings. Sure that will do the trick :-)

After extensive testing I have decided it isnt as bad as I originally thought it would be, still not as good as it was though. May not leave over it after all.

This could be a valid point if something like that was happening, but the fact is that even if wings were REMOVED and not just nerfed favored souls would still be awesome.

That's because it's relative to how much people enjoyed it, not the impact on balance of the game.

Change impact, balance = low

after trying it on lama its not that bad, okay cant exactly spam away to your hearts content but it regens fast enough to be usefull

Well to be honest it IS possible to exploit the heck out of it atm. Not saying that everyone does that but I'd guess that's the reason for the change, I doubt Turbine is changing it just because they see people having fun with wings.

Really, a proper exploit? I know you can't say here if so, but I'm surprised. I mean, I know people can use it at the moment to avoid most incoming dmg but that can be addressed without changing wings, by changing the attack types for example.

Everybody is acting as if FvS just became completely useless. but what really happened is... well... you just can't bouncybouncybouncybouncybouncybouncybounce anymore, instead only 5 times. well 6 even, coz by the time you use your 5th wings, the first one will have regenerated. If anything it made it a bit more challenging to save your wings.... but only a bit

Bummer if you quit DDO for that, looks like you have plenty of chars left.

FVS was the last class i enjoyed playing. Now because some over powered over tr'd people killed your new raid so fast, yet again, making use of what you added to the game, (tr, fvs, wings etc) you decided to unequivocally nerf me. I am left with posssibly quitting this game. Every time i made a character I enjoyed playing you have done something to make them less, and this is the last straw.
I WILL stop my multiple subscriptions if you bring this 5/day wings to live servers.
I am sorry to my guildies, and anyone else who likes to run with me, but enough nerfing is enough.
