This is one thing I am sad to see. Do we really need to color enemy spells for those of us who can't figure out what it means when the little red bar goes down? I can see how it could be useful but it seems oversimplified.

Default Yay! 2 most. Boo to the last one.

My Sorcerer really enjoyed being able to summon two Elementals, not to mention being able to summon two dogs at low level---a real life saver. Bummer...

Quick question, would I be able to change my Alignment (Neutral, Lawful good...) with one of the lesser reincarnations?

Next update: the new feat EASY MODE button. Take it, at level 1, drag it onto your toolbar, and just press it when you enter in quest. You cannot go lower then 100 hp (if you are lower you are automatically at 100hp) and any mob near you have no more then 2 hp. Yay!
    Great work Turbine.

Wow is there a need to be that bitter that early in the morning? Is this a game breaker for you? I understand nerfs that hurt you directly but how does this hurt YOU?

HE thinks it takes skill to recognize that it is an enemy firewall/bladebarrier.. I personally think that this partiqular change was more for PvP then for PvE but meh i can see it helpful in PvE when I am on my caster and folks don't know it's not my firewall.. Although to be honest I normally buff with resist fire so meh it's not like it hurts folks.

It does not hurt at all. Just another member of the very loud minority that wants to complain about the so called "easy button" in update 3. My guess is, he/she will stay around and play regardless of the whining.

Yes I'll stay even with rainbow color friendly firewall and new flower shape for friendly BB and skull shape for enemy BB.
That said, I don't like this "no-brain" changes. Go play WoW or what else you like if you want a no brain change. Now they have lost hours of coding to change firewalls and BB, to have the incompetent-whooops-casual mode (just like normal is not too easy meh), to give more saving throws for spells (yawwn, take a good char and good equip and you have not problems)
These were NOT bugs or malfunctioning things, these were WORKING things.
Hours spent instead of fixing REAL bugs...

Your point of view, my point of view is that the time it took to code color changes was probably less then 1 day, adding casual was again less then 1 day. The saving throws(err heroic opertunity) probalby took them longer maybe a week /shrug with testing. Yes I agree there are other bugs I would like to seen fix (my sorcerer is happy they fixed the capstone), but they (turbine) are doing what they percieve as issues that annoy folks alot. They (turbine) can't please all of the people all of the time, so they have to make judgement calls on what will please most of the people most of the time.

Just because something has been that way since day one doesn't mean it isn't broken or by design.. Many folks used what the dev's percieved as exploits to have the dev's fix them years later in an MMO causing alot of uproar(refering to other games which have done unpopular fixes). It is possible that these fixes that you are so vehemiatly wanting to call "ezmode" are issues that the dev's wanted to fix but didn't have the time, resources, code in place to actually fix it right, finances to actually do.

A Wall of Fire or a Barrier of Blades are totally the SAME thing, the same spell, either cast by players or enemies.
So why make them different? Easy mode for brainless players

Here people is a prime example of the type of person that perpetuates the "elitism" argument of some of the newer crowd. Along with "Go play WoW or what else you like if you want a no brain change" from the same poster. Congrats on being a poster child for elitism...

Again I disagree, if you want to boil it all up to blade barrier and firewall, then take a real example like PvP. That's where the biggest difference of this will be noticed, not in PvE. Like I said for PvE wow just put on fire resist there problem solved it doesn't matter which wall you stand in. The wizard/sorcer will still know which one is there as they do the firewall dance.

edit: also my point was it is very possible that the dev's wanted it to be different for players versus npc's and even PvP situation but it was easier at the time to just code them the same and hope they get time later to "fix" that.

While I agree with your point, I was seriously trying not to hit on that point. >.< I was trying to keep it constructive and not start poking jabs at each other since there are a bunch of threads that degrade into just that.
