If you leave the raid to play with the girlfriend, you may be playing the game by yourself later.
Consider what you will be doing by yourself if you don't pay attention to your girlfriend.
The choice is yours.

plundering RL dungeon or DDO raid...
I am going with the better loot![]()
Flip a coin.... or better: throw a dice!
Just kidding - i´d leave the raid.
If the guildies don´t understand, you might consider being in the wrong guild.
If it happens on a regular basis, consider talking to the lady/lad about it.
If you feel more attached to your Guildies than to your lady/lad, let her/him go to find someone else - you both won´t get lucky with each other.
I nearly lost my girlfriend over putting the game before her. Some of the time we cant quite see whats before us with this head on our shoulders (reference to us men in general), so in this case the other one should be trusted first. As was said before, no game is worth losing your honey over.

It's a trick question. Anyone playing DDO is a nerd and would be afraid of a real woman.
Yeah, most people (me included) would probably leave the raid.
Still, if it starts happening on a regular basis, you've got a problem (in addition to being incredibly lucky).
You made plans with the raid members, and just because those plans happened to end with "...on the internet." doesn't mean you can just leave whenever you feel like it.
"RL takes priority" is a weak excuse in my opinion.
Something good on TV? RL calls.
Getting hungry? Sorry guys, you're going to have to finish this boss alone. I'll afk over here in this corner.
If you neglect your kids/significant other for a game, you should probably take a look at your priorities. But simply saying that anything that happens in real life > anything that happens on the internet sounds pretty narrow-minded to me.
I have been married for 12 years and Friday night is her night for chick fliks and my night for ddo, that way we are both happy.
Wow, I feel sorry for you man, not all of us are like that. I hit the clubs to go dancing at least 2-3 times a week and I'm a Latin dance teacher so I look good when I do plus I'm pretty dam good looking in general to begin with. You may be afraid of women but I for one am not.
People who are as you describe them are so because they allow themselves to be defined by the games they play. They believe that "I'm a gamer and girls don't like gamers so I give up, time to sequester myself in game." In high school I was a total loser but then I joined the navy, lost some weight got in shape and learned to dance. Now I rule the dance floor and have no reservations about walking up to a girl and striking up a conversation (just last night I danced with 4 difrent girls... or maybe it was five I can't remember I was kind of drunk).
I know I am not the only one who plays this game and thinks that way, there are lots of people who have girls in there lives and play DDO, some of them are lucky enough to have girls who play the game with them but either way there is a significant portion of the DDO population who have someone in there lives and to make a blanket statement like this one is narrow minded to say the least.

BJ?
Ok..I know..that was bad
I say sorry guys I need to go, I rolled a 100 and I want this drop badly. Real Life Raids drops are WAY better than anything you can get in game![]()
1) I give my wife Us time so she gives me my DDO time, its a win win really.
2)Dont forget not all us ddo guys are married. I rememeber the single life and sometimes dating felt like rolling on raid loot!

Really?. people find this question hard to answer?.. it's a no brainer. you just log out, go do your thing with your girl then when you log back in tomorrow you tell your guild your power went out last night.
