Nothing worse than pulling out a wand with an undead selected and auto-attack on and having it spam them instead of me.
unless I am misunderstanding how this works, u will now use ur attack key for wand activation as well? That really does not sound like an improvement as now when u forget to switch back to ur weapon u will accidentally use a wand charge.
What would be nice tho....an enhancement that allows us to dual wield wands...now that would be sweet!![]()
Gotta see how this plays with autoattack. Can see someone emptying a wand real fast without realizing it. Please make it a toggle and keep the current way as the default. It WILL take some time to get used to doing things another way, and what about the wand trying to cast spells on invalid targets if you tab wrong. Ok, fighting mobs and you tab around, or what ever and next thing you know you are fireballing boxes. Opps. Or waking up mobs way across the room that had not noticed you yet.
While I can see how it would be useful in play, ONCE you are aware of the contraints, I can also see a number of implementation issues as well.

Nice addition. How does it interact with autoattack? Might be hard to use if it just spams your target...

Yes, currently it's a problem that a class which has to buy UMD cross-class (sorc) is better than a rogue at many UMD tasks.
What about making a fourth rogue specialty that qualifies you for a bunch of wizard-like casting enhancements... and also allows you to cast spells from the Assassin list in the D&D rulebooks?
Not really that great of an improvement, how often do you use wands endgame? Other than may a remove curse wand in VOD.
