bad stories about bugs, bad design of the raid, and issues with the side quests that make having a perfect internet connection
----> in a realtime mmo you should have a top of the line computer and top of the line connection if you want have a perfect gaming experience

But that goes against the living in mommys basement theory.

and voice ability a must which I don't agree with
----> i cant understand why people type, so inneficient...but maybe people dont want their identity open via voice?

I choose not to use Voice Chat when I PuG. I tend to swear A LOT when I get frustrated with the average PuG idiot. I'd rather not have the person/s get upset because I can't help my disappointment.

the raid is a wild ride and takes massive coordination and voice chat is an absolute must..you must at least have sound on for it to hear coordination..be prepaired to DIE

Meh, From I've seen of the raid so far it's not that thrilling. It's a beat down with fancy gimicks and continuous spawnings.

that is what has been done....the reason people are not thrilled is cause he is Killing everyone instantly with his "nasty magic/Sorceror casting"

getting crushed around 10 times in 2 hours and most go running back to water works or Giant area pugs dont like "not succeeding".......jrp says its ok to fail to learn

Something that might work a bit better than shame is organization. Like posting times for certain sigil piece runs for those who still need to complete the sigils. I, myself, have had a completed sigil for several days but no one's been in a hurry to take me through the preraids.

I do have that silly thing called work which has been making me log on later and leave earlier, but I still see no reason, if someone can walk me through the preraids, why I can't be raid ready by Friday/Saturday.

No! Why should I? I mean all I do all day is either run financial analysis on different part of my company to see if I can find underlying patterns that are contributing to their good/poor performance, run calculations on our workforce to see where we can increase pay, deal with a ton of different HR issues such as funding of our retirement plan or what our total benefits costs are and how we are going to keep giving our employees the benefits packages they are asking for or dealing with a boss that doesn't get along with the second-in-command so has me attend any meeting that he is at instead of going herself and then have the GM ask me why I'm there instead of her. So thinking about women and who and when will be my next conquest is the only way that I stay sane at times. It's either that or drinking and you've heard me when I'm drinking.

This is, basically, exactly the case. It would have been a lot more fun if they just made it a VERY difficult beat-down fight. I mean this guy is a freakin demi-god lich....Hand him some nasty magic and just let him sorceror-speed cast on us. Maybe a few undead summons....the puzzles are sorta stupid though it sounds, although finishing them can make the raid a lot easier. Bleh.....
