    Default Thread of the Week: 4/17/07: Merlask Ftw!

    Sometimes you guys crack us up. Sometimes you crack us up so much that you have the whole office circulating the Thread of the Week to see what all the fuss is about.     Well the aim WAS to let the devs and support team know that there are those among us who do understand what it is like, and who do appriciate the work that goes into it

    And also

    I think ppl sometimes don't even REALIZE what it's like on 'our' side of things as hosts lol. But I wanted everyone to be able to laugh about the whole issue really.

    That was an awesome vid, Merlask ... and kudos. I'm in total agreement with a need for just a little respect! Great voice too!

    True dat!! Not many people have any concept as to what goes into DDO, and it's maintenence.

    So I finally found some turbine people to give my 2 cents to.Quit changing things everytime someone uses thier grey matter to exploit the environment to their advantage and you will probably stop losing players.For instance shrieking mines.So what if it people were able to solo it and farm it to try to get their res ring.Its our dime.Ransack?give me a break!If I enjoy doing a particular quest why should I have to wait 7 days before its chest will reset?Again it's my dime and it pays your salary.Oh my god everyone is doing pop!Lets change it and nerf the loot!Well my favorite is the crucible.I take my cleric and 1 caster and exploit the low will saves of the mobs.We are **** good at it and like to do it because its fun and rewarding.So are you going to raise the will saves on the mobs after boosting their dps and armor class?Why not take out the shrine that's outside too?Look people are always going to find ways of using the environment to their advantage it doesn't mean your being taken advantage of it means were smart and capable,smart enough to stop playing when you start jerking us around.Weigh it!

    Why do i even pay to play this game you guys have more maintenance then any of the game i play what is going on at least give us 50% +1 loot weekend every time you do THE MAINTENANCE THING thats fare i pay so what do you say
