    Default Two Questions about tangleroot

    My first Question is >>> Is it true that Wisperdoom can not be killed at the present moment?

    Two>>> In one of the quests there are blade traps that rise out of the floor in the hall way followed by spike traps next to a shrine on the right. Is there a trap box for these two traps? We had some pretty good search numbers for that level quest and no body spotted or found the boxes. My Rogue found the boxes for the other traps and disabled them. We went through twice and failed there and now were else in the entire series.

    It may be that I just failed to focus on the right area.

    Whisperdoom cannot be killed, its part of the story. If you wanna kill her there's another quest in house P where you can.

    Yes there are trap boxes for those traps. Never had a problem finding them before.... They are both on the walls just before the traps. Cant remember which side of the walls though....

    The box for the blade trap is on the right hand side. The box for the spikes is on the left side just a bit before the trap area.

    Default just a suggestion

    Before you disarm the spinny traps, draw the mob through. The traps tear them up. If you can, have a web or something to slow them down. Saves a lot of fighting. You can disarm later and then run through to get the chest. Usually if you hug the wall to the right you can get around.

    Not quite true now with the new blade. I've seen many people getting hit while doing it. It seems though that it works at leaset if you go alone towards the shrine, because the blade triggers after you.

    1) Wisperdoom - False very killable

    2) Traps - Yes on the left just round the corner before the traps.

    Whisperdoom is very much killable, but not done easily or with the level 4-6 characters who most often frequent the quest.

    I heard they changed it when the new Whisperdoom quest went live. I know you used to and haven't tried since so I'm not for sure. Just hearsay.

    I agree. Whisperdoom used to be stat-damagable, but now is not. I have not seen any proof of anyone who has killed her in Tangleroot since she was buffed in preparation for the new higher level quest.

    This is deliberate. In Tangleroot she isn't just a mob, she is a plot point, similar to Marguarite in Catacombs. You can't kill a Plot Point. If anyone says they have (since the change) then would need to prove it.

    I killed her once a looongtime ago, but I beilive i saw a dev post somewhere saying it was no longer possible to kill her.

    The new Whisperdoom in Tangleroot can take damage from spells, such as Blade Barrier, but she has a lot of HP and very fast regeneration. Just soloing I've only been able to get her to about 90%, then she regenerated back to full health. I very much doubt that she can be killed now, but if someone has done it lately, they would definitely get my respect.

    The Devs have stated that they changed her, she is now 100% unkillable in Tangleroot.

    Yes you may have killed her in the past, but since Evil Resurgent she is immortal in Tangleroot.

    Fact: Whisperdoom in Tangleroot can no longer be killed. This change was made a bit back.

    As for the trap boxes... yeah, DCs got raised so good luck in your hunting of them. They do exist. Other posters have already said where.
