    Default Diplomacy

Does anyone actually take diplomacy and is it any good?

    Thanks

I use Diplomacy on my rogue and it lets you lose aggro and gain a sneak attack as long as someone else is near.

i use diplo and intimidate to manage aggro. diplo for trash mobs that i don't want to waste spell points on and intimidate for everything else that is able to be influenced.

just wanted to let you know that my battlemage has been the easiest toon i've ever had to level. i've completed most of the harbor through hard and i've been able to solo most of it. nothing like popping a haste scroll before a tough fight and going to town. looks like i'm going to go 1 rogue, 1 pally, 8 sorc, 1 rogue, 1pally, 2 sorc, 1 pally. i'm really worried about level 9-10 as i have buffs but don't have firewall. a lot of my BAB is going to come on the back end. [sigh]

issues: having to wear robes. the asf is just too high on elven chain to use it reliably. however, i scored on my first trip through ww as they offered me a lesser acid guard of light fort -by far the ugliest robe ever designed - so i've been running around with it laughing at all the damage it generates. i have a +3 twilight mithral chain shirt (ML10) and a +5 twilight mithral chain shirt (ML14) in the bank but that is going to be a LOOOOOONNNNNG time from now.

i did mess up the gimp's (my guild's nickname for him) stats. i went with 18 str/8 dex for a 30 final instead of going 17 str/11 dex. oh well.

Definitely worth it if you can afford to put points into it.
