We just got done taking down the queen for the 4th time since this last patch and figured we can share our success with everyone. Alot of people were still havin trouble and seem to do the whole jump down when the blade barriers are incomming.

Just have the grp stay together the entire run and assign clerics #'s. When the Blade barriers are on top of you, depending on the damage your grp takes, call out Cleric 1 to AoE Heal, then cleric 2, etc...

Sorry that there is no sound... but I had to run the raid with my Mic and I have a USB Mic, and Fraps dont like to record sound when I got it pluged in.

very good vid there Oz, We gave it a shot in our guild but we only had 2 cleric ava and will most likely only ever have 3, Well ill tell ya 2 clerics is not enough

Our guild does this regularly with one cleric and 6-7 in the raid.
More is preferred, but optional.

No tricks, no exploits. I do like the tactic you use - but it's not what we do.

Riorik, may i ask how many deaths in your tactic?

Also is your cleric haning out in the lava?

If so that way is pure excitment...

I wouldn't say "my" tactic - and it varies. Usually there are some - but some players seem to almost never die yet others die multiple times. I think the art of not dying tends to be related to what the player does, what they're build & equipment consists of, and a little luck. If I'm not mistaken, I saw a few deaths in that video also.

So why would we want to hang out *IN* the lava anyways?

I do believe we have a couple video's of a few of our runs although I can't get to them at the moment.

I'll have to be honest - please don't think this is condescending but I'm not sure how anybody wouldn't automatically drift to the tactics we're using. I do think the one cleric thing is sort of a thing you try when you're forced to do so (only one on) - but it really didn't make it any harder. Most healing gets done with wands anyways - save your mana for Raise Dead.

I'm wondering if perhaps you should explore the quest a bit more the next time you go in. We figured out our current main tactic in the first 2-3 minutes of exploring the quest after the last patch that changed the lava level.

I would actually go so far as to say Clerics are completely optional. There is no need for spam-healing capabilities at all....although you might be stuck using Rez scrolls.

I do like your video - btw - always fun to watch the fruits of somebody elses labours. I did point it out on my guilds website - I'd actually like to try your method sometime just for fun.

I agree, The oz method is quick which to me is most appealing.

I changed the Video on the site to the post patch video. She tripes 10x more it seams and its a bit tough to keep the heals up with clerics laying down most the time. We've done it with 2 clerics post-patch but I perfer 3 for most pugs.

Six minutes is pretty quick. I want to say we're usually in the 10-15 minute range on the end of quest scorecard.
