naw - the crystal imbuned things mean that they have the powers of those crystals in the mines.

if you notice when u do the quest the sonic traps come out of the crystals themselves. most of the named items such as the leather armor or morning star have Sonic Capabilities on them

Where is the captains? In burning city? Just thought I'd make it easier on myself!

The captain is outside in the desert on the way to the burning city. He has a name and right now I cant remember it, i'll go look when ddo is back up for his specific name. Its up the side of the first mountain, up above mauraud the mines.

Is it the one by the outside shrine? or the area that is exactly north around the mountain where the platform is? Just have yet to see it spawn so trying to narrow down the search a bit? Thx for the info so far!

Yes, but you must complete the quest, which is why no one is farming it anymore.
