Hearts of Blood & Wood sale frequency?

Hey all. Does anyone recall roughly, how often the Heroic True Heart of Blood and Epic Heart of Wood go on sale? I'm midway thru 19 and want to take it to 30 and do both at once and I'm trying to figure out how often the sales are to determine if I should farm ingredients to trade for them or buy them @ 20% off now....or if there will be another sale by the time I hit 30. I'm a pretty casual player and will not be power leveling from 20-30 in a couple days. It will more than likely take months. Thanks for any help on this.

Don't hold your breath. There was a minor discount during the december deals, but not as deep a discount as I was hoping for. They have been discounted further in the past but that was quite a while ago.

For any sale "better" than just the normal rotation, I believe you are looking for events like Summer Sales, Black Friday etc.

If you are levelling normally 20-30 by playing Epic quests, then just play all of the quests that award tokens.

Commendations of Valor or Heart Seeds for Epic Heart

Honestly, if you are going to 30 you will more than likely have enough Tokens of the Twelve and Comms of Valor/Heart Seeds to not need to worry about Store Sales for these items.

Also, once you reach 30 Heart Seeds will be in the end rewards for quests that usually have Comms of Valor and some Sagas also list these as rewards.

As people stated above, don’t buy Epic Hearts from the store. You may collect enough commendations to trade in for a heart, but if not, every quest giver offers 2 heart seeds as a quest reward once you are Level 30+.

As far as Heart of Blood or True Heart of Wood, it’s usually better to run Epic quests for Tokens/Token Fragments. Early on, they can be difficult to stockpile excess quantities, but you should also ask other players to pass Tokens (veteran players have more than enough built up). Once you hit Level 21, Epic Challenges are another good source for acquiring Tokens.

On the other hand, if you ever plan to TR at 20 and really don’t like your current character, then you might consider purchasing a heart from the store. I’ve never done it for any of my 100+ TRs, and I solo exclusively.
