    Default 64 bit client freezes

I had to switch to the 64 bit client. Since switching, the game graphics will just freeze periodically, and then eventually unfreeze. This isn't server lag, or internet lag, this is a client graphics lock up. I never had this issue with the 32 bit client. Does anyone else get this issue?

In our static group last night we had a couple of freezes and 3 drop deads - the game simply stopped and closed without warning. 3 separate players, states apart.

In addition to instances of freezing up, I've had one instance of a client crash, and two instances of the blue screen of death. Seems to be a graphics problem, but that is just a guess.

I've gone back to the 32-bit version, now that the launcher seems to be repaired.

This freezing issue with the 64bit client is new, it never used to do that (for me, at least). Came here to report the same thing.

Both me and friend I quested had this issue today.

I used the 64-bit client before U59 without any major issues, so this is something new. It occurs now and then... everything freezes for about 5 second and then resumes normally. It's often when in battle with my sorc and there are a lot of graphical effects and mayhem going on.

I read on the DDO discord that the problem seems to be related to sounds and that changes done in U59 is causing this issue for some of us. I will try to run with sound off next time I play to see if it fixes things.

I second this. I've always used the 64-bit client....but as soon as the new update (complete with 32-bit client issues) rollled out I started experiencing these. They haven't stopped. I've just been waiting on someone else to report it to chime in.

Now I will say this.....some updates back, my game (which had NEVER done this before) started dropping on zone changes. Almost like clockwork. I lived with it for a few weeks of hell before I reinstalled my game from scratch and the issue went away. I'm assuming this is going to be one of those times again based on friends who AREN'T have the "freeze screen issue", but once again, I'm suffering through for a bit just hoping it rights itself. I'm stubborn.

Same here, 4-5 seconds of complete system lockup. Have used the 64 bit client since the beginning and never had an issue.
