Sound after droam update

Still getting scratches and pops and sound restarts.
I never had sound crashing, but it doesn't seem changed or better.
Eax works for 64 bit client now? Sounds exactly the same.

EXCEPT with no settings changed at all, the sound is LOWER than it was. Picking generic or OPENAL makes no difference. Using headphones, Logitech wireless

This is completely untested, but you can try this: download the official open-al soft binaries from here: https://openal-soft.org/openal-binar...1.23.1-bin.zip Unpack it somewhere, then go to "alsoft-config" subdirectory and run alsoft-config.exe. This will allow you to change various *default* parameters of openal soft driver. This might not work if ddo is hard setting the parameters itself, but should work otherwise. You can experiment with various quality settings and see if it fixes your issues. There are a couple of problems though. There is no "reset to defaults", so better save or write the initial settings before playing with them. Also the "save as" option only accepts an existing file so you need to create a random file first, before you can just save your configuration. Any change will require restarting ddo first. It worked for me prior to last update (when I replaced openal myself), so there is a chance it still works now.
