Depends how much imagination you have, and what effects you are looking for - i.e. it depends what you mean by "portray".

If you want "spells" (or "spell-likes") without any "spell casting" animation - no. You're going to have to ignore that to get any spell/-like effect.

If you can overlook that, and you are looking for Stuns and Dazes, then spells like Sound/Sonic Blast sound about right. Also the Electric line, which has some nice damage with built-in stuns/dazes.

If you are looking for insta-kills (which are going to be higher level), then spells like Finger of Death (with high DC's to back it up) are what you want.

Look at an Air Sorcerer (Electric/Sonic) or a Stormsinger Bard (Electric/Cold plus Bardy "Fascinate/Charm" stuff, plus utility spells).

Feydark Illusionist caster: pretend your Shadowblades SLAs are psionic attacks. Can complement with gnome Illusion bonuses. If you're a wizard, use Archmage's Phantasmal Killer SLA until it stops being useful (i.e., mob defenses are higher than you can penetrate). Sample build.

If you want a sorta-Psionic Warrior using Feydark's Shadowblades: some sort of CHA-based single- or dual-wielder, I guess? CHA Swashbuckler would work. Or CHA Tempest. Or maybe something even niche-ier like drow cleric 1 (Vulkoor) / monk 1 / Sacred Fist 18. But the summoned Shadowblades can't compete with actual best-in-slot weapons especially in epics, so it's largely for role-play flavor or running a lowbie heroic life or something like that.

I really wish Feydark abilities had actual decent scaling because yeah, that'd be the DDO version of Psionics

Anytime I see someone mocking up the idea of a psionic tree, it inevitably ends up coming to "this is basically what Feydark is, except viable"

Its really sad too because all Feydark really needs is just like another 3 steps of +2/lvl to Shadowblade SLAs scaling through the cores, like Stormsinger...move Fan to T3 and add a "Fireball" type Shadowblade at T4, and a "Rain of Shadowblades" Arcane Torrent style area-AOE instead of Ring at T5...and maybe shave 3 secs of some of the CDs

Boom, not only do you have an instant Psionic style build, but you've created a basic Force caster tree that Sorc, Wiz, Warlock, and Blightcaster can all use to build on top of
