Default DCs relating to Improved Trip - what's happening?

Hello everyone... I've recently returned from a long break and the character I've built is struggling to land any improved trip in Legendary elite content.

Character is level 32 and all geared out ...improved trip DC's at 115 normally, and 125 when Action Boost Tactics is up. Could get it higher with pots, but...

So when running elite Sharn or Saltmarsh or Dread, I seem to be landing 5% of the time. What? Why? How?

And core 4 of FofW "Be the Whirlwind" isn't helping.

(I was excited with this build when mapping it out, very excited about the "Be the Whirlwind" and hoping that my feats spent on Whirlwind Attack would also apply an Improved Trip with core 4 FotW, but now that he's level'd I'm finding it a big disappointment)

Again, does anyone know what's happening with this? Any talk of fixing this or next steps in the Devs minds or ?

Trip and Improved Trip don't seem to land at all and I'm a fighter tuned for tactics.

I'm not sure what the problem is but at 125 DC I expect to hit trip 95% of the time especially since bosses and so many red names and even non-bosses like Reapers are completely immune to it.

    Default More testing

I've done a little more testing...

Stepped into Sharn's "Same Old Song" on Legendary Elite, where the first fight is right next to the entrance with a cluster in a narrow walkway:

My Improved Trip (again, with Core 4 of FotW) will typically land on 1 person, but the other 2 or 4 attackers surrounding me do not get tripped.
Recalled/re-entered 3 times with same results

Same test but on Legendary Hard, my Improved Trip will not land on any.

I have another wonderful character I built up a couple months back...more of a flavor build:
Tabaxi Trailblazer lvl32 with 20 Cleric, Quarterstaff fighter in War domain
Trip DC of 75 during normal questing...
The racial tree tier 4 "Wide Sweep" was landing "ALL THE TIME" <--said in my best Ana voice

Anywho, I took that character into "Same Old Song" on Legendary Elite, and "Wide Sweep" fells everyone surrounding me. Tested multiple times. Working great!

I then tested on Legendary Hard... "Wide Sweep" works just as good as in Legendary Elite.

    Frustrated.

These are my only 2 characters setup as DPS and using tactics. Wondering about my new character and what could be the factor for this issue. My first thought is race--he is a Razorclaw Shifter with 18 fighter. Uruk-hai, any correlation with your fighter?

Different saving throws and monster STR/DEX are universally too high.

Tabaxi Trailblazer Enhancement T4 Wide Sweep: Enemies must make a Balance save.
(DC 14 + [DEX or WIS modifier] + Trip bonuses)

(Improved)Trip Feat: Enemies must make a Strength or Dexterity save, whichever is higher.
(DC 14 + STR modifier + Trip bonuses)

    Default Thanks for explaining...what's next

    Thanks for explaining J2345678

I assume this Str Dex adjustment for mobs recently happened? <--It was a year or two ago that I played a barbarian cleric that could trip...and I remember trip working well in Sharn content.

Have there been any comments from devs on if this is the new norm and intended, or if working on a solution, or ?

This is a good example of why all tactical attacks need to be revamped and brought into line with today's DDO. They should also be made to do decent damage in addition to their effect like most enhancement attacks do.

I am hoping when they put in the Fighter Archetype, they will improve every tactical attack feat since that's the Fighters only real advantage over other classes.
