Yep soloing reaper becomes much easier and one less need of a healer overall.

More "less tedious" than "much easier". Of course that all depends on how and with whom one plays reapers.

This is such an amazing change. Thank you so much for it!

    What determines your combat status?

If a mob(especially a ranged mob like archer or caster) recognises you, would it mean you're in a combat status? or should they make a damage to you? Will it be forever if you don't kill it? would a dungeon alert make it permanent?

While I think this is a good change overall (assuming "in combat" actually means in combat and not "kite the mob for a couple seconds"), releasing this change before R11+ seems like the priorities are backwards.

This change makes r10 a solo difficulty. When will we have a real challenge mode for 6-person parties?

If you want to improve hirelings, then please consider the following:
    1) Allow us to gear hirelings (armors, weapons, accesories etc.) - we do love customization!
    2) If it's possible, allow our hirelings to grow with our characters - when we level up, hireling could advance as well. Let us pick their feats on lvl up (can be limited to only a few feats from a preselected list, but at a minimum healers should have access to Quicken, casters to damage and DC boosting feats etc), plus the ability drag them to hireling bars;

Both of those points would mean permanent hirelings, but I would be willing to spend some real $$$ to buy that option. And I bet I'm not the only one.

    3) Give hirelings the benefits of our reaper enhancements (HP bonus at a minimum), they should be usable behind "park at entrance and use only for rezzing if our toon gets killed".

Unyielding Sentinel has an enhancement that refreshes when you're out of combat, it probably works similar to that.

I didn't really have time to run the quests last week so I ran the first 3 on heroic elite tonight after cooking supper. I chose heroic elite because not many people will check out heroic on Lamannia and sometimes weird stuff sneaks through because of it.

Diplomatic Immunity still has a few dialogue lines referencing monkeyman namely in the Intimidate options.
Is it possible to put a little painted symbol on the rocks that are used as path markers? It would just look more appropriate if Ullevian had painted a symbol like an arrow for instance that pointed in the direction of the next rock.
Maybe not for heroic but would it be at all possible to add an optional to the epic version of Diplomatic Immunity to get down to the beach and if not lay waste to the beach forces at least hinder their efforts? I don't know anyone that has looked down upon that beach while standing beside Ullevian and not asked to be able to get down there and go full hero on those troops. Or even tried to jump down from Ullevian's position to that beach.

Framework didn't seem to have changed much thankfully, as its one of my favorites. However, experiencing the sound effect of finding the trap on the stair... that is not just a sound going off for each trap box but apparently a sound effect dinging for every blade in the trap as my character found them, some of them simultaneously...amplifying the sound. Uhm I am going to want to silence that sound(s) as swiftly as possible. Please make a separate UI check box so I can turn that sound OFF explicitly. Thank you.
I had no trouble hearing all the Medusa's dialogue.

Eyes of Stone. Little note on the table in the library was nice. I still don't know what is the purpose of that lever upstairs behind the desk in the room beside the secret door with the locked chest between the rooms with the petrified Coinlords. It would be interesting if it unlocked the chest for people that don't have open lock, currently doesn't seem to do anything.

I will try to run the others tomorrow, time permitting.

I would pay for those features too. Before gearing hirelings, we would need the gear to work first. But yeah, that would be fun.

What search skill does the level 18 version of Darling have? It seems woefully insufficient for level 18 quests.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

To save anyone else the trouble the dps kobold werent active when i logged in - which is unfortunate as i like to test builds before I take them out to the real world.

I did test the out of combat healing and it seems to work as described - i didnt need to be hit to be in combat and endlessly kiting didnt work either.

I'm not too keen on the spellcaster damage pruning. But it is what it is I suppose.

In terms of the great leveler ability, could we by chance get a bump up on the trip tactics DC? the trip almost never goes off as is especially in higher end difficulties. Thank you.

btw the black panther mount is kicking! cant wait

[QUOTE[*]Caster damage in Reaper difficulty has been adjusted for Skull 7 and higher:

    • Skull 7: From 25% damage to 23%
    • Skull 8: From 20% damage to 18%
    • Skull 9: From 18% damage to 15%
    • Skull 10: From 15% damage to 10%

    [/QUOTE]

The blanket nerf to ALL casters really seems like a lazy approach to me. Not ALL casters are over performing. Lumping Druid, Sorcs and Alchemist in the same nerf with Cleric, Favored Soul and Wizard does not feel like the best way to address a “balance” issue. I believe you will better serve this game by leaving it alone or targeting the specific builds/spells that are creating the issue! (just my 2 cents, alternativly we can just drop down 1 skull and move on with our day)

On a separate note: The recent work you guys are doing to fix the lag is very much appreciated and has people in game really hyped! I am cautiously optimistic and hoping for a drastic improvement!

It may very well be the most important update you will ever do!

Well how does that work then? LOL

Or more specifically, how long after combat does that take? Because if its as long as, say, it takes for you to switch to your "idle" animations, that's still a lot of built in downtime waiting to start healing

Also, as someone else inquired, can you still go OOC if a mob somewhere is aggroing you, but isnt/cant get in range to hit you? Be really annoying if a Reaper aggroed a mob behind a door or something and then you were stuck the rest of the quest...

So... you want dragonbreath and primal spells nerfed. Of course, they'll have to address any other spells that "deviate" to ensure we're all on an equal playing field. d6+spell level damage. d6+3 for level 3 spells and all that. Can't have weird spells doing more damage than that, might be unblanaced.

I mean... I don't mind, we can just remove casters from high skulls in general at that point - or they'll go DC caster anyway.

I can't answer for Unyielding Sentinel, and there's some tests that I'd like to try in a quest with perma dungeon alert, or the mobs stacked on top of each other in a 3D space*, but it seems to be: so long as nothing is trying to attack you, you get the full heal. My test for this is watching the procs for Sustaining Song, and Holy Presence.

*Think the Yugoloth favor Amrath quests.
