Default Racial Cosmetic Overriding (Mirror of Illusion)

"Mirror of Illusion" - [995 DP?]

Copies the current appearance of your character that uses this mirror. Once used, you get an item "Illusionary veil of [your character name], the [your race]"
This is equippable item. Once you equp this "veil", your character's appearance is transformed into that character's appearance.
It doesn't change your racial ability, of course.

I don't want to play some ugly races, and this will be helpful for my dislikes for them.

I suggested this before, and I'd like to suggest this again..

I was hoping we could get templates added. Half Dragon/Celestial/Demon/Giant. With cosmetics that would be customizable.

In my head they would have their own Racial Past Lives, with progressively unlocked cosmetics, that the player could customize how much is displayed.

This is all my original work that I just resourced from DDO. Tell me what you think!

    interesting idea.

What I have done to get around this currently is to use cosmetics like the Reaper Helm/Armor/Cape from the Mabar event. It is a full cover. Only the frame is different. Half-Elf is what gave me this idea.

    Default Remember what's being asked!

You are asking for development time on animations covering every race combo available. This would be quite expensive and yield no expansion on gameplay.

This would essentially waste a lot of time and resources that could be spent on a Racial Template that does what you are asking but also further expands customization.

Something to consider. Other than being remarkably tedious I am sure it would be quite deflating to work on a mechanic that washes race choice away.

I understand the sentiment as I did really enjoy all of my racial past lives. A racial template is a great idea and a great way to bump all the races up a notch. Saving development time on improving each tree

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

    Create Gnome artificer.

    Apply PDK/Dragonborn/half orc mirror

    Fire whirling words.

Die because you are laughing to hard to kill any more mobs.
