    Cool VIP Perk Changes.

I Like what i heard so far but have a suggestion. How about a stacking 10 percent discount on the ddo store included on the yearly sub calander.

Similar to every year hirlings last 20 percent longer, DDO discount goes up every year 10 percent.

Personally that would keep me subbed.

Its pretty obvious the new "perks" are coming out as-is and no one will care.
If I can read the dev tracker, you can too.

Realistically I think that would be much too generous/damaging to SSG bottom line. If they wanted to do this the more realistic way to go about it I think would be to increase the monthly DDO points stipend. Or maybe VIP only limited time store sales. So if something goes on sale on a weekend for 20% off, give VIPs 30% instead, etc.

The ultimate point of VIP is to get people to spend more money than they otherwise would, not less. The balance is to figure out what benefits they can give VIP without causing them to spend fewer store points.

Well perhaps cap it at 30 or 40 percent but the more savings each year would increase the sub count, which will increase the money coming in.

The thing is, realistically games like this rely a lot on big spenders and they'd lose far more money off those big spenders who are already VIP than they'd gain off a few new VIP subs. It'd have to be a lot less generous.

Give vips a permanent bonus similar to the loot bonus weekend so that we get more frequent reaper and mythic items.

We only gave them about 100 suggestions for how they could do that, all of which were completely ignored.

I haven't seen this suggestion, but I like it.

Or have like that "treasure map" bonus going? So its more NAMED loot.

I hate how the regular loot boosts just gives you a +4 Anarchic Light Mace of Halfling Bane instead of a +3 Anarchic Light Mace of Halfling Bane. Or a +2Heavy Plate of Repair Amp vs the +1 same.

But when I get that Treasure map thing from 3BC, I tend to get named loot decently more often (maybe its placebo effect).

I think between the comments on Axel's video on YouTube plus the massive thread here - there was no shortage of recommendations and displeasure at the currently proposed benefits.

Easy solution would be to just bring back daily gold dice. Not like we got to choose anything, I had a lot of days in a row where I rolled for 1-2K XP, but it was great to stop the toil of TRs. Only so much Korthos, KOTB, Harbor I can take every few weeks.

Other solutions that could be good enough is a permanent Lesser Discovery bonus for named items, or crank the XP bonus to 15 or 20%, give that 10% run speed bonus in quests/explorers as well, or let VIPs TR into a Veteran I.

To be really blunt, tier it for all I care, I'd happily pay $30/month for extra XP, named item chance, run speed, and to start at Level 7 so I can jump right into Feywild and 3BC. As long as they keep adding Archetypes and Races and Classes I will never not want that stuff.

For everything else - it's pretty meh. The Ransack Reset would be sweet but I'd just pay cash money for that. Same thing for a flying carpet or whatever else.

Agree, but I understand the need to have a profit but the point that needs to be taken, They need value to keep ( me at least ) subbing for more than a year. And the idea of a bonus that builds the more years you stay subbed is the right idea. I buy convenience to the tune of 200 or more a month in the shop, the pots as a reward and vanity items don't really interest me but the 20 percent hirling time is the right idea, give me incentive to sub in a free to play game.

I'd love to be able to mount my horse after a quest is complete.
