    Default Only some castrers are over powered, why are all casters getting nerfed?

    I don't think my Pale Master's necrotic ray is broken in R10. Nobody in their right mind would.

    Why is he getting nerfed as much as the Ice Sorc?

    Because that's how it works around here.

    Even better question, why not just balance from elite -> r10 - if they need a 20% nerf, just apply it across all difficulties, instead of edge case after edge case.

    You could play in r9 and not be nerfed at all.

    It's a shame that bottom tier caster types will get hit and be made to struggle more than they already do in the harder settings.

    Why nerf 1 when they can nerf them all.


    Caster haters will eventually realize that nerfing casters doe nothing to fix the issues with non-caster builds.

    Adjustments to reduced damage have been made in Reaper difficulty for spellcasters in general on Skull 7+:
    Skull 7: From 25% damage to 23%
    Skull 8: From 20% damage to 18%
    Skull 9: From 18% damage to 15%
    Skull 10: From 15% damage to 10%


    Look at the %'s guys, it's not going to do jack in terms of killing power in the vast majority of quests. OK, you MAYBE have to cast one extra time MAYBE.

    Don't worry you'll still hit the top kill counts.

    That’s how the nerfs come

    Broadly

    Nerf everything & it ends up hitting the underpowered most leaving the overpowered overpowered

    Those who are doing the exploit will go from doing 300k to 200k on r10, so still one-shotting things. Nothing changes for them. Those who don't know the exploit will go from 1 to 2 hits if they are draconic sorc, or will TR if they aren't.

    I don't know the exploit, but I've seen it, and I wished ssg would fix the exploit rather than nerf everyone.

    This is going to bad for the game.
    I can already see people getting excluded from R10 runs based on being an non-ideal caster.
    There are some overpowered caster builds, but I'm not playing one of them.
    I'm still getting nerfed to uselessness in R10.
    It seemed almost silly how easy R10 was with bone weapons, but this basically requires bone weapons for high reaper.
    So it is kinda making DDO pay to play or just forget high reaper.
    Don't nerf bone weapons, just nerf everyone, right?
