    Uhhh get good? R10 is about tactics and skill. Not about who can kill the fastest. Maybe try casting a mass hold once in awhile? Too many people think they are r10 players and really do not belong in that difficulty range as is.

    Yeah, it's kind of crazy how much of a lack of gear there is in epic levels. You'll basically go from 20-29 without ever really changing anything but your weapons because there's nothing to use. I really wish they'd release some mod content for mid 20's.


    Unrelated: I'd also be interested in knowing the reason behind changing the wildmen?

    As someone who mains casters let me recommend the following:

    0) Lowering damage on Draconic mantle to bring it in line with the Primal mantle.
    1) Lowering the damage on Ruin and Gruin
    2) Lowering Eburst scaling as well as scaling on AOE spells.
    3) The reduction of crit chance bonuses. (E.x., from Pomura's augment, the exceptional bonuses, etc)
    4) The reduction of crit damage bonuses. (E.x., from Dino Bone)
    5) Nerfing the crit chance on frozen wanderer filigree bonus. Ice is already the best element for sorcs and druids, no need to help it even more.

    The floor for damage casters is already too high. By trimming the top you aren't going to change much. The whole archetype is overperforming; however, it is mostly overperforming on Sorc and Druid. Warlock, Wizard, Artificer, and Bard are all not overperforming in the damage department.

    Sorc could use a 30% nerf, but not in a way that affects other casters.
    Druid about 20%.
    Alchemist damage is really not that impressive IMO. Blightcaster is also not overperforming so it getting hit with a nerf is not good.

    There are actually two separate problems:
    1) AOE trash clear on r1 is too good.
    2) Single target damage at cap is too much.

    Yes, this first Lamannia just features the first 3 quests. Subsequent Lamannias will have the last 4 quests.

    Default About the Caster nerf...

    The changes to caster damage feels like a rushed, overtuned decision. There are better ways to handle a change than slapping a huge nerf on a playstyle without explaining why.

    Nerfing all casters like this will narrow down build diversity in high reaper. Lower damage classes will be forced into higher damage classes, because the lower damage classes aren't keeping up anymore.

    Why?

    18 means elite is 20, and you cant do reaper at 20 in heroic quests. There isnt enough xp needed after Sharn for an entire Xpac. You'll be capped before you are done the entire expansion, so you have to run it without taking 20 for minimal rewards.

    Please rethink the level, even if just dropping it to 17. Or be bold, and make it not heroic but mid epic/leg. There is no need for a lvl 18 Xpac
    Level 18 is a useless level, when I pointed this out to Severlin in his live stream he was really surprised. Seemed very out of touch with the game and what is played.

    Would love to see stuff around level 12-13, really tired of giant hold and really dislike the Droam content.

    This is just a temporary fix until the next balance pass? Right?

    Obviously a small, but ham-fisted nerf to all casters only in r7+ is not even close to ideal, but I suppose it is better than whats on live right now.

    Any details on fixing this properly in the future?

    Tested out running and jumping and moving back and forth, all looks good on my female gnome. No dance? Not even the head nod lions do when in an otto's sphere?

    Default Missing Melee damage

    Hi there, I compared all of my stats and it looked fine, until I used Fred to change my scion. When I changed it, I lost approximately +25 base damage, so it went from +95 to +70 in my weapon tooltip. when I changed it back to my original scion, i did not get the base damage back. Is there something wrong with the system when you change scions? I figured maybe if I change it back, it would correct it, but that's a big decrease. This is just in the test dojo.

    edit - fixed...for some reason, it dropped all my falconry enhancement points when I moved scions. is it supposed to do this???

    I'm not much of a cat person but that is really neat. I'm happy we are getting new mounts that aren't reskins.

    I upgraded Salt Marsh Gear to Epic and at 21 mixed in some Borderlands items and everything went smoothly on an Arti Alt.

    Yeah it's workable, so would you be ok with level 32 gear being the last level of useful gear until level 40 then? Think your missing the point.

    The herky-jerky spinning around in one place issues the PDK and Half-Orcs were having seem to have been fixed in this preview.

    Let's hope they don't accidentally revert whatever they did to fix it.

    /dance doesn't seem to work (although my char moved up and down on the mount like the mount was supposed to be moving) and /dance2 dismounted me
