Poor execution and advertising of Hardcore transfer window extension

You tell us in the launch window to NOT transfer and await further further instruction.

That instruction never came, not in the launch window. Not in the place that you would expect that VERY IMPORTANT message to appear.

Instead you hide this VERY IMPORTNT instruction in a forum post; which is great if you are a regular forum reader. You also extend the window by only a matter of days.

So I just had a quick look and have found out that all my Hardcore goodies have been deleted. My XP pots, gone. My 'Gold Roll' Fast Nightmare Steed certificate, gone. Everything, gone. I missed the deadline by two days. Superb.

All the previous Hardcore seasons I sucessfully transfered. This season I did not transfer beacuse you told me not to and then failed to tell me I should via the same channel.

I'm not alone. You've let alot of your player base down.

I've been playing DDO a lot recently, every time I logged in I looked to see of there was an update in the launch window. I would even scroll down to see if I'd missed it. I can still today scroll back today to March 8th and I see nothing about transfers.

I did not see this alleged message, and neither did many others. Poor exection. Very poor.

The latest on character transfer return timing

Character Transfers have been re-enabled following the resolution of a bug which caused transfers to be disabled last month, and transfers to Orien and Sarlona in addition to the After Party for Hardcore Season 7 have been extended. Read more in the DDO Forums.

It should have just been stated clearly on the launcher when you guys turned it back on.

Maybe you could take some of your time and help this player out. Occasionally helping players produces an amazing amount of good will.

It was on the launcher, it was removed from the launcher were the free transfer period ended.

Very sad about this. I actually bought the high-end DDO points pack with the White Dino. Kept it in game storage because of the mount stable transfer antics. Was trying to keep an eye on things when I log in... very frustrated with this.
