    Default Sprint clicky?

    Hi.

What about making a sprint clicky.

My thought would be a low level item (in the range of level 3-7) with 1 charge that gives 30% action boost to movement speed for 20 seconds like tier 1 of the enhancement sprint.

This item should be upgradeable to Epic and Legendary like other items are today.

The Epic vesion would give 2 charges with 40% action boost to movement speed for 20 seconds like the tier 2 of the enhancement sprint and the Legendary upgrade would give 3 charges with 50 % action boost to mevement speed for 20 seconds.

    Why?

Well not all classees get sprint as a choice in enhancements trees and not all have or want to invest AP into sprint. With 99% of groups today (from my experience) beeing zergs this could help out not beeing a straggler and could help out for those that come in late to catch up.

    Just a thought.

    Best regards everyone.

This makes sense, ONLY if they make every action boost in the game an available as a clickie. Otherwise, there is no reason to have choices in enhancements.

BTW, every class has access to sprint boost already.

3x PDK lives and a person has a sprint boost on every life going forward.

It's just an idea, and although you can access sprint in Falconry tree not all have the points to spend if you want to be focused on the build you're playing since it is a waste unless you "really" need it.

But another suggestion that i actually have is that we up the running speed in quests to 50%. We get the standard 30% as early as level 9 i think. would be nice to increase the speed some more. I don't even mind if they made that available on epic only gear.

And I get the point made about if we make this clicky then we should make every action boost into a clicky but i dissagree on that. There are some things that should stay on certain builds only and some you should have to choose to take or not and some that I don't think is that relevant to be exclusive. The sprint one beeing one of the latter. As i stated in the opening post this game has truned into a zerg-fest (unless you have some friends that you play with that are likeminded and want to do ransack, optionals and conquest) where the only optionals done are those that has a chest that drop rare loot. I'm not complaining about the zerg mind you, I usually play alone solo and only join the occasional party if they run something I don't mind zerging through or like raids. I can sometimes enjoy zerging through a quest I feel is boring or if I just want some fast xp.

So, you want a consumable that'll give you the runs?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Regarding the falconry tree, that is the point. Not all builds have points to spend in all trees. This is true of every build. You have to choose whether you want to run faster or do more dps. Run faster or have more defense. Ect ect ect. Sacrifice must be made with all builds in enhancement choices. This is the way.

I promise you this, if they add anything to the game that is given to all players, the players that are currently zerging ahead of you, will still be ahead after the next speed boost is released.

Groups that zerg ahead are only visible by those left behind.

I can kinda understand the OP's request, because trading off combat efficacy for non-combat QOL is usually not something you ever want to do, unless you're making a very niche build like a challenge runner.

But this is the right answer. Any build can invest in a no-tradeoff limited sprint boost already, so the OP is just asking to make it more accessible - which I dont think it needs to be, necessarily.
