To fix the problem next life I gave my ftp accounts 10% xp potions from eberron dragonshards and had them take saga rewards as xp once my main was ready to take 20. This seemed to balance it reasonably close.
In that scenario, I would guess that the greater tome is a big chunk of the xp difference, and the MM is less. I'll have to keep track of all the MM xp I get next life just out of curiosity. Just guessing, doing the quests I normally do on a TR, I think I probably get roughly 125,000 to 200,000 xp per life from MM depending on xp pots. What quests you do will effect it also of course.

Was there another free quest code I missed?
If I can read the dev tracker, you can too.

I'd pay 199 points if Sharn would include the teleport like the other packs did if you bought them a the time they were originally sold...

You can still buy sharn with the teleport item at least. Poor Ravenloft bottle of mist is the only one with no way to obtain anymore.

It's was 75% off recently. I have no judgements on the value of purchase price, just the said teleport item is available to buy.

I wouldn't buy it at that price either (I bought it during the anniversary for 75% off). But you said you couldn't find it.

Yes. I appreciate you telling me where it was. I didn't know you could find older content there. I just saw the most recent IOD there.
    Thanks again.

It also gives people a sense of accomplishment as they check off the list of things to get.

    Like:

In store $25 starter pack 1
    Keep on the Borderlands
    The Lost Gatekeepers
    BTA Mount
    Shared Bank
    Level 1 Barbarian Hireling
    Warforged Race

Starter Bundle 1: 100 DDO points
    The Catacombs
    The Seal of Shan-to-kor
    Tangleroot Gorge

In Store $25 Starter Pack 2

    The Sharn Syndicate
    Phiarlan Carnival
    Three-Barrel Cover
    1 BTC Hireling Folder
    32-point Build
    Veteran Status I
    Level 4 Cleric Hireling
    Favored Soul

    Starter Bundle 2 - 100 DDO Points
    Necropolis Part I
    Tangelroot Gorge
    Vault of the Artificers

    etc. at various level ranges.

Caveat - not sure if the value is there are the store packs, but they can balance it out by adding consumables or other items to make it a decent value.
I would say every quest pack that is more than a few years old should be 99 store points or less. The idea is you want new players to experience the fun of shopping in the store. If every time they get 400 favor they can go in and buy a new quest pack it will feel rewarding to earn favor. And by the time they have bought all the cheap packs they will own most of the game (older expansions should probably be pretty cheap like this too). Even going below 99 store points per pack would be fine.

Shopping in the store is fun and getting new players to go to the store a couple dozen times in the early weeks of play to buy more stuff is a habit you want them to develop.

Agreed on this, some packs are NOT worth their price in points, be it for favor, gear, or even as fun content to run.
Loot revamps are great, but are too far apart to warrant content being at price it is.

I've been watching Steam discussion and most common complaint is amount of content behind paywall (yeah I know you CAN get everything just by farming favor, but try to explain that to someone who saw "FREE" at game description and discovers just how much is actually free).

I think i saw somewhere point/$€ cost of getting access, and while some new players go VIP, not many do.

IMHO VIP is good value to new players but not every potentially paying player is thrilled about subscribing.

Yes if you purchased the Ravenloft pack level that included bottle of mist you get that on every character. This person's point is that since the Ravenloft pack is no longer a stand-alone xpac, but rather part of a bundle, it's no longer possible to obtain the bottle of mist if you didn't previously purchase the xpac standalone.

That's true of many bonuses from old xpacs.
