Remember guys. Make a few (or few dozen or heck few hundred) accounts. Just in case someone who's interested may want to join up in the future.

Think about how much more they might be willing to stay if they had everything up to and including Sharn unlocked!

The free code is only for adventure packs, not expansions. Saltmarsh also isn't on the 99 point sale like the other older expacs. Only up to Sharn is on the 99 point sale atm. So you bought Salt for the same price it currently is.

When they update the forums later this year then maybe they'll be able to schedule automatic posts like the way they can with Twitter and Facebook; old janky forums require manual stuff and they're probably busy setting up for PAX right now.

Because...

1: we experience time linearly. This means there is no jumping forward to see what will be, nor going back to do things differently. There is no guarantee that some specific thing will happen in the future, so it's up to each person to assess the risk/rewards of acting now or waiting.

2: we are mortal. Eventually, everyone will die. Even if we have a very good suspicious that something will become free/cheaper if we wait, we know that we can access it now if we pay. Because our time to live and experience things is not infinite, but limited by our mortality, some decide it's worth paying extra to experience something sooner rather than later. For others, waiting to experience something later for a lower cost is worth the wait. And for others, they never get to experience it as they end up dead before they were able to experience it. This is another risk/reward thing every individual must assess for themselves.

Yeah...Sev just said within the last 48 hours that they were not going to offer a free quest code again because it didn't make financial sense for the company. Then they immediately do exactly the opposite. They just lost an incredible amount of credibility with me

Why would I ever buy another adventure pack a la carte? They've made it clear now it's only a matter of time before they give in to the complainers and give it all away again. Even if they say they won't ever do it again, clearly they still will

Well.. 2 weeks ago was probably during anniversary sale. Did they purchase the Ultimate fan bundle? That one comes with a ton of goodies including stuff that makes your characters super powerful.

Also Salt is not 99 pts.

No, we all bought base editions, so we lost money and that's it... If that code includes all the non-expension adventure packs, we are going to have to decide if we keep VIP since we unlocked it for the packs and not for the benefits.

Oh well. Cool for the others.
