First paragraph about manyshot was false. The paragraph about U53 is expectedly out of date as the training data on ChatGPT is out of date, but overall referencing Carpone's U53 ranged DPS guide is an insightful answer. ChatGPT still not as smart as Carpone but still impressive :P

ChatGPT is the village idiot/savant. It's read everything, understood half of it and has no idea how to put the other half together.

Not to mention having people ask info on topics that already is known, or already published.

No offence OP. People relying on AI right now is like lighting a candle in a fireworks factory.

A few years down the road I Might believe 1/2 of what can be gleaned from it, right now it's garbage.

IDK, having something with more contextualization seems like a step up from search. Search hasn't been updated in a significant way since internet was a thing like 30 years ago.

Noting that Dall-e the image generator built from earlier versions of ChatGPT really shines when you depart from prompting it and give it an image to vary. The problem with Dall-e image variation is stability, it gets more painterly, less liney, more diffused each generation so it cannot "dream" in a stable manner, sort of evaporates after a few generations. But while you can get Dall-e to dream it comes up with some pretty stunning art ideas, vaguely grasping at image straws.

Some people look under the hood of ChatGPT, see there's less there than you'd think and get unimpressed. I think folks should be very impressed how far an "AI" has come just boot strapping language and building rather coherent ideas one word at a time.

On the other hand, ChatGPT is definitely a BS'er.

I will not claim to be highest dps, because mine is burst, not really sustained. But for years my focus has been to have the meanest Slaying Arrow I could! I do not think Carpone even included my build in the ranged showdown thread, because it is wisdom-based, but it is a tried and tested build...
