META discussion about Ghallanda/Orien: Why only those two fighting?

As title suggest, I don't care to talk about, um, whatever it is all those "other" threads (don't hurt me, Cordo..) are talking ABOUT. But instead, I was wondering about the dynamics of the discussion. In particular: Why do I only see people from those two servers arguing?

Where is the Sarlona/Khyber public spat? The Orien/Cannith? Why JUST the two that we see?

I made this thread because I didn't want that question lost in the sea of angrillity that all the other threads are.

They're not... all I've seen is a few trolls feeding fires and creating multiple posts to still things up. If you scroll thru the various transfer threads and other stuff, it's not hard to pick out the select few constantly trolling in them vs people legitimately talking about concerns.

Is it based on population?
Why isn't wayfinder ever chosen?

I remember reading the reasoning why long ago, but don't remember what it was.

So the million dollar question is: Why doesn't the argument AGAINST Warfinder being chosen apply to Ghallandra?

The shouts and cries from G-land couldn't be ignored at the highest reaches in all the realms!

Seriously new DnD movie is coming out and I'm now seeing adds all over YouTube and other places as well.

This may create a wave of new interest in DDO.

G-land has the worse lag/glitchiness amongst other issues. In my opinion I wouldn't would steer new peeps to either G-land or Wayfinder.

DDO would make a better impression on new players if they landed on Sarlona, Argo, or Orien instead. Less lag and more grouping opportunities for new players. We want the new blood to stay around awhile so we can feed, *cough*, I meant PUG.

D&D: Honor Amongst Thieves ads are playing everywhere. There's a **** Old Spice commercial based on the D&D movie!

Sometimes in moments of weakness , I feel like, what if all my plans get foiled and I inadvertently created a rebirth of Ghallandha even greater than Orien, with an absolute flood of players new and returning coming back into the game and into the current default server Ghallandha..?
