    Exclamation Maximum Destiny Point Bug

    I have just finished my ETRs and have noticed that my max destiny point is 73 when many other of my guildmates and friends have 74. I found out from this forum discussion (https://forums.ddo.com/forums/showth...ce-build/page3) that I am not the only one to have this problem and it is due to a bug where some people have an extra fate point from somewhere (perhaps a rounding up of 56/3=18.6667 to 19 rather than a rounding down to 18).

    May I ask someone on the player council to bring this up with the devs please? I suggest the easiest way for them to fix this inequality is to add another epic past life, this will bring max fate point for everyone to 57 and 57/3=19 exactly, no 0.666667 bugging some and not others. The people who already have 74 will stay on 74 since 1 extra fate point will not add a destiny point whereas the people on 73 will go up to 74 with that 1 extra fate point.

    A new epic destiny (and should be another epic past life) is coming soon.

    You will have 74 and the people who currently have 74 will have 75 though.

    See my link in my first post for the detailed numbers, the people who have 74 have 74 because they already have 57 fate points for some reason, getting that extra +1 FP from 'feats'. A new epic past lifex3 will not give them an extra DP because 57+1=58 and 58/3=19.333333 so still 19

    I don't believe having 74 is a bug. Are you sure you aren't just missing something that they have that grants a fate point (or two?) Quite often I've seen people that thought they had all the Fate Point tomes, but ended up not having the +3 upgrade -- it's not always on sale in the store iirc it's a limited time offer sometimes. But the maximum fate points is 57 which doesn't leave a fraction when dividing by 3.

    Fate points (57):
    3 from Tome of Fate +3;
    3 fate points by speaking to Draconic Incarnation NPC (arcane sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Fatesinger NPC (arcane sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Magus of the Eclipse NPC (arcane sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Divine Crusader NPC (divine sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Exalted Angel NPC (divine sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Unyielding Sentinel NPC (divine sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Grandmaster of Flowers NPC (martial sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Legendary Dreadnought NPC (martial sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Shadowdancer NPC (martial sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Fury of the Wild NPC (primal sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Primal Avatar NPC (primal sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    3 fate points by speaking to Shiradi Champion NPC (primal sphere) in Junction of the Spheres;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Energy Criticals (arcane sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Enchant Weapon (arcane sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Arcane Alacrity (arcane sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Ancient Knowledge (arcane sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Eclipse Power (arcane sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Power over Life and Death (divine sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Brace (divine sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Block Energy (divine sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Ancient Blessings (divine sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Doublestrike (martial sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Skill Mastery (martial sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Fortification (martial sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Ancient Tactics (martial sphere) (martial sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Doubleshot (primal sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Fast Healing (primal sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Colors of the Queen (primal sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Ancient Power (primal sphere) epic past life feats;
    1 fate point by getting 3x Epic Completionist epic past life feats (probably this is the 18th epic past life feat shown in the list and in the screenshot)

    Destiny points (74):
    19 destiny points from Fate points: 1 destiny point for every 3 fate points;
    40 destiny points from Epic levels: 4 destiny points per level;
    8 destiny points from Legendary levels: 4 per level;
    4 destiny points from Epic completionist: 1 destiny point for every 12 epic past lives (there are 51 epic past lives);
    1 destiny point from Tome of Destiny +1 (Feywild)
    1 destiny point from Tome of Destiny +1 (Historic)
    1 destiny point from Tome of Destiny +1 (Dread)

    You have to count 18 icons under epic past lives tree in your character window: on each icon (including epic completionist) you should read "acquired 3 times".
    Also you need Tome of Fate +3 and the other 3 destiny tomes listed above.

    I have every epic past life (and 73 DP total - have every DP tome and +3 fate tome). Epic completionist gives 1 DP per (so 4x DP), it doesn't give a fate point for having those. If someone has a fate point from that then it's a bug that's benefiting them. Whatever the cause, this bug has existed since the ED revamp where some people came out of it with 1 extra fate point.

    Given the above picture, what number of yours is wrong/different?

    Thank you for the picture. Are the past lives for each exactly the same? You can find this from hovering the mouse over the star symbol to the left of the toon name on the character sheet.

    For example of what I am looking for, but on the 73 and 74 toons each.

    From the get-go when the ED revamp hit lam, people with every past life had different DP points available; it's just funny that it went live with it. If SSG needs data then I can break it down (or ideally they can examine character data to figure things out), as a player it doesn't really serve much purpose for me to do anything beyond what's been done since the initial lam ED revamp previews with reporting. At the end of the day, a bunch of players with total completionists will have 73 or 74 points with zero control over what data on the backend is causing the difference.
