The issue for me and the only reason I would transfer to Orien is that I don't play HCL and I'm tired of getting ditched on the normal servers every time an HCL opens up.

It would probably be worth a bit of lag to have a guaranteed population on live when HCL rears it's ugly head again.

Holy mackerel, you are not kidding. It has gone past Argonnessen now too. There are presently 27 groups and two raids late morning EST Saturday. Poor Wayfinder has Zero groups....

As bad as people are saying the lag on Orien is, it's still not as bad as Ghallanda was with a third of the population. That server is seriously borked.

Being a native to Orien I can definitively state that since the transfers opened and reopened the lag is out of this world. Often frozen in place for minutes on end. 2 members of my party couldn't get out of saltmarsh tavern, tried to relog, client said server was full(didn't know that was a thing), they restarted clients and it took them half an hour to finally use the port over option to eberron to be able to join us. That's the worse story I have, but just saying the lag increase is real.

I moved all my 12 toons to Orien and it is the best decision I have taken in my life for a long time. Lag is nowhere near the levels of Gland. LFMs are plenty across all levels, and when I post a LFM, it is filling up faster than a flying bullet.

If you do not have a closed/static group in your server, pack your bags and move to Orien today.

I'm not sure of all of the hype over Orien. I have been playing on Khyber since the server Riedra was merged into it several years ago. I usually never have any issues finding parties on Khyber.
