I heard this mentioned quite a while ago when the Risia games were retired (either on the forums or maybe in a Weekly Wednesday livestream). So if I know about it, it's considered "public" knowledge.

I don't think it's a pressing issue that requires a hotfix. Go ahead and use the skates, whatever.

I could swear either Cordovan or someone on an ask devs stream said this was just a neat little side use for those skates, obviously said before Risia/midwinter skating was retired.

I am going to assume this is NOT an exploit and I am going to use it because it gives me something I can use these skates that I paid real money for.

It's not an exploit, it's a favorable bug and only benefits people that actually spent points to buy the item. If this even gets on to SSG's development radar something is seriously wrong with their priorities lol.

This has been known by some for years now. You are better than I on timing the jumps. There are a few other areas in the game with similar environments that the skates work in.

Cordovan told us to keep our skates when Risia was deprecated. If SSG wants to give us the option to trade them in for something. I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Like stacking ice/fire 10 resist that you could craft into cosmetics. Or 120 ice spellpower (making your cosmetic ML:26, but still - saves a slot)
