Did you try changing instances? I remember back in the day, manually toggling to the highest numbered instance sometimes helped. Or maybe it just gave me something to do while the lag naturally resolved itself. Of course we had many, many more instances than 2 back in the day.

Also, Marketplace is going to be the busiest place - why not just avoid it, there's not much reason to go there, if you're in a guild.

That's interesting, we ran guild raids at that time with zero lag, even commented on it in channel. R10 TS, R1 D&D and R1 KT. Strange, almost like we are on different servers.

ditto, ran the PUG raids around 4:30 Eastern to 7:30 Eastern, zero, nada, zip, empty, lag.

maybe you should check your ISP instead of blaming SSG.

Just logged off Orien myself. Experienced no lag while I was there.

try ensuring your character data is fully loaded .
(loading the who tab in social (ctrl O) and checking active lfms.)
with such a large population your computer loads it in the background or all at once if you tab though social .
might even visit the bank an load all the bank data into your ram as well.
